EBook Offline Reader

does not work

tried this as a chrome extension on chrome os, cant open anything but the table contents, removing

Unfortunately this app crashed my CB when I tried to open an epub file from my Drive. When I downloaded the file to my HD, I could open the file but the app only showed the first page and all pages blank after that. I left the file open for a while to see if it needed to load the book but still blank pages after 5 minutes.

I couldn't open any epub file with it.

only showed me the first page of eac chapter...

i could not read sammy franco book how do i go about reading it any ideas ????????

Downloaded, installed, opened an epub file, empty screen. Shite, i'm moving on.

There is no way of resizing the font, changing margins or line spacing. Hopeless on a small screen.

This did not work for any epub file I tried. It displayed the cover of one of them and that was it. I am very disappointed.

No page numbers or navigation

I have to scroll through every time I want to read! It won't save my page AND to top it off, it randomly jumps me back to the beginning so I have to scroll through 500 pages to get to where I was.

No memory of what's been read. No index. Really nothing besides text display. Meh

i completely hated this it never works

The app works on the computer but it's hopeless. All I can do is go to next/previous page. No control on font size, shortcut for going to certain page number, bookmark, etc. It also loads very slow when turning to next page.

Worked only for a few pages. After that - only blank spaces. Doesn't matter where you start in the book or how often you open it. At soe point everything will turn white.

Doesn't work and when it does it is soooo slow.

As I said it just crashes on my chromebook.

It simply didn't work for me. I tried to open an epub of a magazine I had on Drive and it didn't work. I downloaded it locally and it didn't work. Perhaps this is limitation of the Platform and why Newsstand hasn't been ported to ChromeOS

This does NOT work on a chromebook. Don't even bother downloading this. Updated, restarts, re-downloads...don't bother.

Apparently Chromebook wasn't supposed to be used as a reader. I've tried 4 different readers and none are compatible with the Johnson County Public Library.
