Clear New Tab

Before the image loads, the tab flashes with a bright white. Even if I set the global background to black.

It worked for a while and then it just broke. I reinstalled it multiple times and nothing occurs. I can't even open the settings page.

i have to uninstall. i'm using it in edge not chrome, but it used to work properly. after the update when i close the browser tab it immediately reopens to the clear new tab settings page, no matter what.

up until about a year ago this app was great...no problems....but ever since they've been 'upgrading' it i get nothing but a blank black page for options and a blank white page for a new tab...i'm sick of waiting for some genius to fix it properly...i just love the human nature attribute of totally screwing something up because it works fine...i'm out...deleting this exercise in futility

Software is fine, chrome just disables it for some weird reason. I feel really bad for the devs cuz they did nothing wrong. Screw you, Chrome.

Looks good, but i would like to still be able to see the bookmarks on the new tab screen, wich renders the extension itself useless for me

Lately, and by lately I mean several months now, it keeps wiping out the picture I have set as my background and gives nothing but a blank page - over and over again. I upload my picture again and it works for a while, until it wipes it out of its memory again and it gives a blank page again. This keeps happening over and over again, it is incredibly frustrating.

Kept freezing the rain, vid speed didn't work, also search bar + short cuts gone, Watched the vid and I'm confused.

Worked for years. Author broke something that wasn't broken. Now it throws up a big red error banner. Uninstalled.

RUINED by "Update" ... up until last night, this was one of the best chrome extensions ever. And they ruined it. Lost the ability to rotate background images, making this a simple "wallpaper" app. Thanks guys.

very cool, but there's a little thing at the bottom saying "clear new tab" that bugs me.

I loved it so much when i first got it. Now it won't work at all. All I get now is solid colors. No images at all.

not sure how it works but it just makes my backround plain white with no text and the settings page replaces my cursor with a bunch of blue curves anyone got a fix?

Worked just fine until recently. Now just about every other time I open chrome it just defaults to a white screen. I need to re-input my images every time to get them back. Not sure what changed or why this is happening now, but before the most recent update it was working perfectly. Hoping this gets fixed soon because it was a very good extension before, but for now it's probably not worth downloading, at least until this gets fixed.

it's good and does the job well. but occasional error keep occuring every month or 2. I got to reinstall it everytime.

Extension continually fails in the sense that when turning on the PC and logging in, what was saved in Clear New Tab has totally disappeared and has to be put back. Have had to do this literally a dozen times and so I am uninstalling "Clear New Tab"

Lovely extension, does everything promised and more. The only problem is that you can't have bookmarks

It's good but too bad my favourites are not showing up. There should be an option to activate it or not. I can see it in the examples, so either they had it always on or the problem's on my side.

its good, but before the update, i was able to close the chrome browser and reopen it with the same picture i had before it closed, now its just white screen now, no theme, just white and i have to set up the theme all over again.

It'd be a lot better if we can see bookmarks bar, cause typing each time you wanna get in a site its kinda tired. Besides that everything its ok. ^^
