lets go ai content but non ai content says its ai . so this plugin is trash
turned youtube's restricted mode on with no way to turn it off
Putting block ai voiced yt videos behind a paywall is so scummy actually
When I disable it on a specific page, the pinned icon still says "has the access to this site" even after I reload. I have to duplicate the page to get the white circle. Kinda sus ngl
i was trying to send an email via Gmail and it cut half of it so the recipient got bits and pieces. I do not use AI at all but somehow it managed to delete half my message. uninstalled
Installed and uninstalled once I saw the dark pattern in the pro trial. When you can only get the trial by signing up for the 'pay yearly' option it is clearly in the hopes of people forgetting to unsubscribe if they aren't fully satisfied. I would personally not forget but I won't even give it a go when I realize the deceptive practices of the creators. Shame. Hopefully there'll be a trustworthy actor coming up with something to help avoid AI voiced videos on YouTube in the near future.
Does not work, only blocks videos with the word AI and other AI terms and in search results deletes videos with an AI summary. Also, it only blocks out thing with AI terms. I do not recommend this extension
does not work
No detectable effect, and opens a tab nagging for a review, which is utterly unacceptable.
Useless extension the one thing that is useful is behind a paywall hopefully Brave or someone else rips the code from this extension and makes it free to block Ai voice channels and other slop related content
Doesn't work. Within visiting a few youtube channels, it gave a false positive, and there seems to be no way to white-list, or report the false positive. We need one that works as well as some of the ad blockers. A public black-list type of system. This is not that. There's no way it should have detected a popular live youtubber as AI content.
The extension let ai summaries in immediately. When I clicked the extension icon (where it sits next to the URL), it had a bunch of settings selected I found confusing: some I had not seen in the settings page (like avoid voiced ai content), some was stuff I had opted out of (like blocking facebook content when I don't use that site) and the most important setting (to block things from google searches) was absent. This implies the app or something is altering the settings and you don't have control to customise what you see. It makes me uncomfortable seeing it disregard my settings like that and I don't know what is wrong with it.
Free version blocks AI RELATED content. AI generated content blocking is paid funciton only
do i need an adblock for my adblock popup?
Has a counter showing blocked content but there's no log or anything informing what it has blocked. So either it's blocking legit slop or blocking false-positives. Even the small red badge counting blocked items is meaningless when the user is blind to its function
this extension is more trouble than it's worth because of how its settings are grouped. by combining the ai generated content with ai related content under one button, it hides a few ai generated channels/grok (which is fine but it's not enough since the overwhelming majority of ai generated content is still visible, so it just does the work of a few "hide this channel" clicks on youtube), but it also hides everything related to it, including human made content that talk about any form of ai due to blocking anything with "ai" in its title or description, which defeats its purpose to me. talking about npc ai in video games? blocked!
I think this extension is overly aggressive and sometimes unfairly just block anything that mentions "AI" in the title/headline by default, not whether the content is AI-generated or not. Like, a few YouTube videos reported about Firefox and WordPress adopting AI without showing any AI slop images, but when this extension is on, those videos won't show in my feed.
