Dude this is worse than i thought dude i cant DO ANYTHING I CANT PAINT ANYTHING U THINK I CANT DO
0 stars if i could
This app and website is worthless.
I have heard this app/website was so good. What, did you pay them to lie? I tried uploading a image and it gives me an error. Big fail
it sucks it does not work i spent 1 hour trying to figure it out its stuped
not to be to harsh but one star
What the hell is the point of the thing if you can't save the images you edit?
I literally can NOT add a new layer AT ALL!!! 😡😡😡😡😡
$65 a month for GIMP!? don't bother with this, they're pricing it too high.
No. just so many kinds of no. i do not recommend this for anyone. i got it and now it wont let me delite it.
how can i remove it
All i could do was load an image. I clicked on everything and nothing worked.
infinate boot loop
So you take FREE apps from Linux and cut out half to program features to get money, either from ads or for "premium" service? Just. Wow.
Love Gimp on Windows10. This Gimp will not initialize on my Chromebook.
Literally can't run it. It freezes when I try to upload an image. Thanks, guys. You did such a good job. Congratulations.
0 stars if could. I opened it up, and all I saw was a small white box. No brushes,no drop down menu, just a white box. The lessons we can learn are: 1. For the love of all that is good, read and look at the reviews. 2. Make your products obvious and easy to use. Get some beta testers or something.
I cant even use the brushes or ANYTHING! 1 star! Hated it.
whenever i open it, it's fine, but when i try to use any brushes or do anything at all, it just wont let me. i initially downloaded this so i could edit a zip file, but it didnt work when i did. it wouldnt open the zip. hell, i even connected the thing to a dropbox i threw together in 1 minute and it still doesnt work.
Worse than useless. Application just pinwheels endless when trying to open a file. You can't do a single thing.
Lags forever, cant do anything
At first I was very dismissive solely because of not wanting to pay money for something free. But after some years and some thoughts I have come back to this app and found I can just use minimize my browser to be tiny, open the app up, screenshot my art, and then crop the image so I can just do it for free. With money out of the way, I now see this sucks for many more reasons than that nitpick. It's slow because a chromebook isn't built for something like fancy art software just like it isn't built with the memory or hardware capacities for fancy video editing because Google wanted to make a very high tech paper weight instead of a computer. (even if you could get it to work you'd have to use a trackpad to draw which isn't very enjoyable) And because of that "Paying" thing you have to draw all in one session, quickly. Because A) if you close it will not save anything obviously and B) it will crash or kick you out of the session eventually. Overall, it sucks. A chromebook can't use this and having to pay just makes the issues worse. If your an aspiring artist, don't use this. Don't use a chromebook. Buy an actual art tablet and computer or draw traditionally because nothing else really works (props to any artist who can stomach a mouse/trackpad though.)
dont know how to input an image
You know what sucks? PAYING TO BE ABLE TO SAVE. You know what also sucks? HALF THE TIME THIS STUPID APP DOESN'T EVEN CONNECT TO MY DRIVE. You know what sucks the most for me? THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN ACTUALLY USE CERTAIN FILES. This is literally the worst. Don't make the same mistake I made in downloading this.
awful!!! so slow and not user friendly at all. couldn't figure out how to get my photos uploaded and when i finally did it wouldn't let me save. don't waste your time.
asks me to login, THEN once I logged in directs me to the same page asking me to login again.
terrible
Too slow to do anything. Couldn't put in an image.
Non-functional on Chromebooks.
too bad you have to pay to save files used to use this since it was free now i went ahead and got photoshop (which is better)
Make it free to save...
wants accuse to your online storage wont accept local storage no cancel button or x button to close prompt tries to force you
screw this
I don't think the folks who created Gimp are behind this. Don't waste your time downloading this app.
laggy. had to delete account and then redo everything.
it wouldnt let me draw, or do anything on it whatsoever. all it would let me do was go on it, and go off of it, i could click all i wanted and it wouldnt respond
dont work
doesn't work
I can't open a file, useless.
Poor can't even use it, None of the tools work.
Review of GIMP on rollApp. It's buggy. Constant errors on pop-up windows. Requires payment to save to anything. No thank you. I'll just download the real GIMP and save myself the headache.
rollApp requires you to pay to save, making what was intended to be a free alternative to Photoshop no longer free. Way to ruin a good thing, rollApp.
Very glitchy still and you must be a premium member to export a file...
not starting at all... bugging the whole machine 4k I have...
When I would use the app it was extremely slow and I could barely do anything, it might be happening as a result of having a chromebook but the computer itself worked perfectly fine, it was the app that was slow. Also, I have not run into the other problems people have had like the ads and paid saving.
Simply does not work. Loads, but flashes between a large and small window. Won't even load until you manually allow popups from rollapp.com. Won't interact with clipboard. Won't display notifications. Won't load context menus.
It's so painfull to use
roll-app should just get rid rid of it. it is to glitchey and slow. doesnt work at all do not get it. its a waste of space and time. i laugh at gimp. please whoever made this consider giving up on life.
Rip off of the original Gimp which is free. Utter garbage which I wouldn't use if they paid me. download the real Gimp from gimp.org
doesnt work. it wont let me sign up or sign in.
