Go to any YouTube video. You'll see the speed rate right in the player menu bar. 3. Use the speed button and commands right on the player or use the keyboard shortcuts to adjust playback speed. 4. See the current speed overlaid in the center of the video every time you change it. 5. Access YouSpeed's settings –by right-clicking the extension icon and choosing 'Options', or via the Chrome Extensions page– to set your default speed. ⸻ SHORTCUTS • Increase Speed: "." or "Ctrl+Shift+." • Decrease Speed: "," or "Ctrl+Shift+," Note: You can use "," and "." on the video page, only when you're not typing in a text box or commenting on the page. A: YouSpeed works on standard desktop YouTube videos in Chrome. It does not affect mobile apps or embedded videos outside youtube.com. Q: "My shortcut keys don’t work!" A: Go to "chrome://extensions/shortcuts" and set YouSpeed’s shortcuts to “Global” if you want them to work anywhere. Q: "Can I use speeds outside YouTube’s menu?" A: Yes!
