Gave me adware and changed my chrome to yahoo.

Good interface, SAVE THE LATEX CODE SOMEWHERE ELSE, very frustrating if you close the page/go back a page/chrome crashes and lose ALL of the progress, used it on one proof, lost everything I wrote, idk what's up with chrome extensions but there has to be some way to cache the work

Requires Flash :(

This uses Flash. Chrome uses its own flash. This is now unusable. You just get a screen saying to install flash, which is impossible. Time to remove this from the web store.

I couldn't even get into the app because my flash is apparently out of date even though google chrome is automatically up to date and I can't do anything to update it further

It was great when I was able to get it to work. But now it says I don't have flash version 10 or higher, and won't run.

Doesn't automatically add () around ambigus equations like sin3 + 1. I added the 3 + 1 to the sin box and it should have been put inside (). If I put a 3 with a + 1 outside the box then I can understand it not adding ().

LaTex or LyX is much better..

Waste of time! Chrash everytime. Why Use Flash? Too bad.

"Differential and Integral calculus" only has integrals. If that was solved I'm sure I'd use it daily - lots of other good features. This is on a Chromebook by the way.

Nice layout and all, but on my Dell laptop, Chrome browser, on Windows 8.1 and high speed connection, this app was running far too slow to be usable. Too bad.

It won't let me use the letter T, a totally weird yet fatal bug. If I can't take notes, what's the point?

Intuitive and good-looking interface, but I was looking for something that exports to .eps

As a mathematician, I would prefer redundancies such as units of measurement to be replaced by more useful things which are currently unavailable, and these are numerous. You cannot make Greek letters bold. Having to manually close the characters boxes is frustrating when I have Chrome set to a small window, which is often since I am usually working in TextEdit or TeXworks simultaneously. 4/10 is the nicest score I can give this application. A nice idea, though it is, it has been poorly implemented. You are, certainly, better off learning the LaTeX language.

This editor stills uses Flash which is being phased out of Google Chrome for security reasons. These folks really need to switch over to either Java or HTML5.

Why cant you save and edit in this Dadum Editor?! WACK! You cant even go back and change your work...it makes you start all over.. whats the point?? A ten year old could develop a more accessible app..

Best editor by far!! Please add copy as image directly. By saving as image, you have to use inset menu or drag n drop from file manager in order to embed the image. Simply count how many click and jump around UI to get the job done rather than copy and paste solution.

Problem is, it dose not run without internet connection. Rest is all fantastic.

So, I am usually quick at typing LaTeX stuff and draft white papers with complex formula, but this starts to get a little wonky when I have a lot of embedded typesettings. At that point, I have no recourse but to use the point-and-click tools, which just slow me down.

Doesn't work with bigger formulas.

This is a step in the right direction! But for completeness you should definitely look into supporting math fonts, so that commands like, say, "\mathcal, \mathbf, \mathbb", etc become available. At least for me, this won't be of much use without said support.

It is an equation editor. It's nice to have. Free and web based. works well. I like that it will give me the LaTex code for the expression I created. I'm on a mac, when I exported the image to the desktop the file extension was not appended. I had to put .jpg at the end manually. However, it was easy to drag the image into a Google doc or Presentation which is nice. I could not copy and paste the Tex into the Google Doc equation editor, that only showed the Tex code, it did not convert it to the expression. If you type Tex by hand into the EE that works.

Would give a much higher rating if I could work out how to export to MS Word. 'Save as text' saves to an unknown file type and so does 'save as image'
