very very bad

tried to convert my first file. All it did send me gibberish

Saw all the 5 star reviews - so perhaps it's just me, my browser, my chromebook or my internet connection (though none of them ever give me any trouble). But if you leave the active page the extension ceases to function! Which means one must sit and WAIT for it. So instead of my biggest file - I really DO want to reduce the impact of my mov files on Google Drive by converting them to mp4 - so, naturally I started with the biggest offender, 1GB+ Wouldn't have been fair to judge the extension on that alone. So I picked the smallest - I gave the extension TEN MINUTES to upload a 147MB file. I was still waiting on it to tell me that it was done and for it to ask me what format I wanted my file to be converted into when I realized that writing this MUCH DESERVED ONE STAR REVIEW was a better use of my time. Good luck to you if you choose to go with the 5 star reviewers instead of me. But I'm uninstalling the thing and have no intention of giving it a second chance at wasting my time.

smh used to be a little convenient, wasn't perfect but it did grab the url you wanted to convert for you... but now really is faster to just bookmark the file extensions you commonly convert to and paste the url in yourself. they overhauled the site so now when you right click and select convert to image in the context menu, from, two sub menus, you land on a page that has every file extension like for videos... ctrl+f is needed to get find say png. why even have the option to convert to image, video, etc?

You have to pay if you want more access. USELESS

Not sure, why this extension, it's not allow to download WEBP image to PNG on chrome, it's taking me there website.. So why need the extension install in my chrome ? I can convert the image directly in the website...

Whatever it does - it doesn't show you. There's no finished product for you to download or upload or copy or whatever.

It doesn't even work. I went to convert a powerpoint pdf to word and it said it "converted" it, but it didn't provide any option to open it. Just seems like a scam to download people's information.

The design was good, but why can't you convert it to certain files like a gif? If you want to make it better please change this.

The website is really great and probably the best converting service I've ever used. But this app is completely useless. It just gives you fast links to their site. As useful as having a couple of bookmarks.

If you only need it for one type of conversion then a bookmark is better - with this, you're clicking and scrolling all over the site to get what you want.

easy to use and now, but often doesn't save... like after i leave it, it isn't there, only thing its missing but soo annoying. apart from dat 11/10

I really like this app but when the "unknown error" screen comes up it almost impossible to clear it. I tried refresh, restart and turning it off altogether all to no avail. THAT is very frustrating.

It was good at first, but it suddenly declined today. I have been trying to convert one of my videos to the Wii AVI Format and the site won't load the choose files box. I tried using the extension and by my dumb luck, It wouldn't load either! I am typing this from a Windows 7 laptop as I cannot afford a higher quality Windows computer, and I'm wondering if they just recently quietly dropped support.

I find the online converter way more useful. You can convert many types of files seemingly very easy. Personally, I have only used Online-Convert.com for different image conversions, so I can't speak on the other file types, but I haven't had a single issue converting any image files. You can also batch convert as many as you want in one upload... as long as you have premium. Overall, it's a great service, but the extension falls very short because there aren't enough options to convert to, and so I rarely use it. Unless I'm converting to one of the most common file types, I almost always find myself using Convert-Online's website instead. 3* — not enough options and not very useful. Too basic.

The chrome extension has much less features than the website, extension is noticeably slower. File converting on the website works great though. Bringing over functionality of the website, removal of limited amount of conversions, and speeding up of the addon would be great. could be a easy 5 star and very helpful tool, please improve it!

Website is great, but Chrome plugin basically useless. You can easily replace this plugin with a bookmark. But again ... website is great and there's some free limited functionality which I really like.
