Description

Switch the white background of Service Cloud Lightning to dark to work nicely in low-light environments. Prevent dry and itchy eyes, and preserve your vision. DARK MODE FOR SERVICE CLOUD LIGHTNING No need to adjust org settings or ask your Salesforce Admin to do so. You can easily switch from and black to a light theme. You can also tweak contrast and brightness levels in advanced settings. NIGHT SHIFT When staring at a computer screen, we get affected by the harsh blue light it emits. The cold undertone of the screen is proven to harm our sleep and vision. The Night Shift feature decreases your exposure to blue light, making it soft and warm. You can turn the Night Shifts on and off when you need to.

Repost from my review left from an old account on 2022-10-10: I pay $5 a month for Paramount+. That gives me access to a mountain of reasonably high budget content that entertains me for hours. This is Dark Mode for SFDC. What could they even have in common? Ferengi Rule of Acquisition 82: "The flimsier the product, the higher the price" ... Fine. I pay $5 a month for Star Trek. But we're talking Star Trek -a Science Fiction adventure that spans generations- vs an average quality Chrome Extension that I'd be pressed to pay more than $2 an YEAR for, but somehow these yahoos feel entitled to $2.00 monthly for DARK MODE? Get lost. It's Dark Mode. TLDR: I refer you to Ferengi Rule of Acquisition 3: "Never spend more on an acquisition than you have to"

It was what I was looking for until it asked me for money

What a shame, NOT GOING TO PAY FOR DARK MODE> Deleting this extension SCAM!

Can't believe you have to pay for darkmode now. Clearly you aren't concerned with people's health.

A dark mode isn't worth any amount of money

was free for a long time- now charging a monthly fee even though the company shells out thousands of dollars- no thanks- will find another extension, especially since this was faulty at best- not all screens have darkmode

This is a 3rd party extension, not official from SalesForce (from what I can tell) so I am not mad at SalesForce for this (they should have their own in house version but that is another issue). I am disappointed at this developer for suddenly deciding to charge for this. Can they do so? Absolutely. Is it worth the money? Absolutely not. This has been uninstalled. I would suggest avoiding this extension all together.

No thanks. Uninstalled.

I'm sorry, but it was already bad enough that dark mode required an extension instead of just turning on to match my browser settings. Now you want to charge me $2.16 up front and $2.16 per month after that just to enable basic functionality? This is a SCAM now.

[Spits out his coffee] HAHAHAHAhahahaha........! [Catches breath] WAHAHAHAHAhahahaha........! $2/mo for a dark mode extension in addition to the thousands my company already pays?!? [Resumes drinking coffee]

You are out of your mind if you think I'm going to pay for a color scheme....

Literally charging to change the hex codes on a single browser page. Wonder which level of hell these SquareSpace level developers came out of?

A basic setting was free, now it's paid :(

Imagine charging for a dark mode.

I am working for company (1000+) who uses and pays for Salesforce. I use dark mode as extension, because for unknown reason the Salesforce team did not included the dark mode into it. And now you want to pay for an extension which should be free when it is not added? Are you joking?

I have used Dark Mode in Salesforce the last 2 years for FREE and due to my migraine. Now out of no were you want to charge people for it. Honestly its disgusting your a Multi-Million dollar company and Half of us don't have a chose because of our employment or small start ups use your platform on a daily basis. Your one of the biggest tech companies and you cant offer this easy technology for free for your millions of customers, I don't think you will be continuing a good customer experience after this. you rather make a few bucks then keep us as happy users. its sad to see. ---Please someone help my migraines are back and I am not paying for this.

Everything was fine until they got greedy! Thanks, but no thanks! I don't need dark mode that much.

Not going to pay for a color

Use to enjoy this plug in . Now that it no longer is a free product (which is nonsensical as Salesforce has had its own native dark mode until fairly recently at no additional cost) I will no longer be using this extension. Understandably that it requires work to maintain code i will still be looking forward to Salesforce implementing their own dark mode again.

Was great now they want to charge for it? It's a plugin.... for color..... Scummy.

Used this extension for literally years and now suddenly it gets bought by a much larger dev and is asking for a subscription? Absolutely not. Uninstalled. Do not recommend.

Shameless money grab. I could see paying a one time purchase of $5 to $10 but not a subscription. Goodbye.

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-24
Daniel Mills

Was 5 star when it worked and when it did not cost money.

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-23
Michael Sullivan

Why are you asking me to sign in to use a Chrome extension? That is a major security concern & nobody should do it.

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-22
Brady

Was alright now the extension wants me to sign in? No way I don't know who this company is and I'm certainly not paying for this. Uninstalled and moved on

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-21
John Bage

Was helpful, yet buggy. However, now that you are starting this bait and switch it is time to move elsewhere. I would rate you a 0star if i could for the bait and switch you are doing now!

It's not worth the money...

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-20

It was superb until it went paid-only! Rude!

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-20

I understand asking for compensation - devs probably have to update the extension when Salesforce updates to keep dark mode working. A reoccurring monthly subscription fee seems like overkill though. Maybe $10-$15 one time fee?

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-20

Same boat as everyone else. Came in to see my Salesforce tabs all white and blinding. A little heads up would have been nice. $24/year is a bit much for an extension that only changes colors on a page. Bait and switch is going to make this extension disappear.

Why the sudden requirement to login added permission requirements??? That's sketchy AF. I really LOVED this extension until this morning. No WAY am I logging into my account or granting permissions. Way to scare away people who care about security whatsoever.....

If you properly promoted receiving donations instead of a sudden sketchy pay wall people would be happy and gladly donate instead of hating you now. Sad to come to work and have a white salesforce now.. my eyes hurt

bait and switch slime balls, randomly went to a pay wall

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-20

$2/month

This was a great app. Suddenly, this morning a new permission to read and change all your data on all websites. Very suspicious to try and sneak this through. Although I wasn't notified of a fee, many others are reporting that they now have to pay. No thanks. Consider it gone.

Sudden change to permissions and sketchy introduction of a subscription model... Will find something else.

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-20
Tom Philippou

Same as all the other recent reviews below, have used this for 2+ years at least, loved the ability to change to/from dark mode without reloading chrome but not worth whatever subscription they are now trying to charge. Also the permissions are a bit suspect...

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-20

:( Charging $2. Please make it free

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-20

Used it for many months, however they changed policy and started to ask for money.

★☆☆☆☆2022-09-20

This is trial version with subscription - $2 per month for dark mode. Avoid!!!
