Apparently, right now, it won't install is it hasn't "Completed the review process." Can't really say anything positive about something I can't load.

This was awesome and useful and then STOPPED working a few weeks ago.

I don't see the purpose of this extension now that ChatGPT has come out with their own share function, ... I started using aiarchives.org from the recommendations here to browse and organize my chats between chatgpt as well as bard.

It's broken, it's no longer working for me. It just shows "sharing" but does nothing.

How is the number of shared conversations still going up when the extension is broken lol, fake news?

Share Button does nothing on click. Extension does not seem to be maintained for the last two weeks.

The share button appears but does not work whatsoever. I'm not seeing any console errors or any network activity after pressing the share button. Maybe it is not being maintained for compatibility? I would love to see this revamped to work with chatGPT as it stands today. Review as of 5/17/2023. Will update this to 5 star when the extension works again!

Great tool. But the share of the latest shares on the homepage under "Browse Examples" -> "View more" -> "new" is not acceptable. There a no warnings, that shares will be published to all visitors of the website. Also the shares are searchable by everyone. I think that the most users are not aware of this. It's a common practice to avoid such things by generating a random "hash", as implemented here too. But to give the user the decision if the content should be shared with a wider audience.

why the original XML tags in first messages will be removed? you can escape the xml tags, but not remove them... for example: https://sharegpt.com/c/yNT3UAx the text "你: 上海上海" is original from : 你: <invocations><get_weather_by_city><city>上海</city></get_weather_by_city><get_air_quality_by_city><city>上海</city></get_air_quality_by_city></invocations> but in sharegpt, the xml tags have been removed. that's bad pratics.

Not working now. Asked me to log in, but it doesn't do anything. There are no additional buttons on ChatGPT. Does it support Plus?

This is a privacy nightmare! You do not get a warning that your conversion will be world view and even searchable and there is no reliable way to delete accidentally shared information. Please fix that ASAP!

Please introduce a "delete" Button.

It is not pleasant to share what it is used for. People could write identifying or personal sentences thinking that everything stays between themselves and chatgpt. Big no.

I can't sign in. Share gpt says sign in and gives me two options, google and twitter, but neither works. "Try signing in with a dfferent account", but I've got a tab woth openai logged in, and restarted chrome.

You should have made it clear that once you share it your conversation becomes public and listed in a public list that can be read by others.

Great idea, no information about when it will be working - at least for my windows laptops with chrome - no use yet.

Work great on Sharing, but I get a 500: internal Server error when I want to get in the dashboard

It was fantastic when it worked, but recently it has become broken. Hopefully the team behind it are able to release a fix! FYI, the links are public, so anyone with the URL can access the conversation.

The shared page doesn't print corretly. Typically a code generated by ChatGPT, in Python for example, will not print in a black box and will not be printed completely. This was precisely the reason why I tried ShareGPT: getting a pdf copy of a chat. Doesn't work.

but....is the XSS attack a problem that be considered properly? it seems like that, the plugin will pass the raw html of the chatGPT conversations for generating the sharing page, and any entity like a javascript which can lead to XSS will be passed too...

While I love the extension, this is a real privacy nightmare. All the shared chats are publicly visible on their website. Just imagine sharing any sensitive info during conversation. Sorry but this "small" issue ruined the extension.

It has only worked for me a couple of times, today it's just 'sharing' but never actually doing anything. It's free, so I can't complain, but I would love to use it more to show the conversations that I've had in a more readable way.

@Dom Eccleston Is it possible to log out shareGPT and connect with a different google account? I have the extension installed but can't use it now.

When I have a longer chat then it doesn't work which is frustrating as I want it to work on there and that's the purpose of installing it after all.

Good idea but rather poor execution. The chat on the share page looks rather different from the actual chat page (broken text lists, broken user profile picture, big white bar at the bottom, ...). There's an upvote button on shared links and an eye button which doesn't seem to do anything?
