My experience with the Cresta integration for Salesforce has been profoundly underwhelming, ultimately hindering rather than helping me as a chat agent. While the promise of real-time assistance is appealing, the execution fails to deliver on several fundamental levels. My Main Concerns: Cluttered Workspace: The UI is intrusive and poorly optimized for the Salesforce environment. It crowds my screen, forcing me to constantly fight for visibility between the chat window and the CRM data I actually need. Irrelevant Suggestions/scripting: The "AI-driven" suggested scripting is frequently off-base, as the prompts seem to lack basic situational awareness. Lack of Basic Data Mapping: Most frustrating is the system's inability to pull simple variables—like contact names—into its suggestions. Manually correcting "Hello [Name]" in a tool designed for automation is a significant step backward in efficiency. Inaccurate: The platform consistently fails to accurately reiterate or summarize the customers' described issue. By misinterpreting the customer's initial problem, the tool risks creating confusion rather than clarity. In its current state, Cresta feels like a burden. It lacks the technical maturity to provide meaningful value.
