Quick Question, I installed it, open the hangout meeting but I do not see this icon in the meeting menu?

No longer works after Google Meet UI update. This was a 5 star extension when it worked :)

Not really sure how to use it, not intuitive an app and I can't find directions. Based on the reviews here others are experiencing the same thing. I figured out where the transcript icon is but at the end of the call. When I copied the text into my clipboard all I had captured was the transcript from the last part of the call. I just did a call and thought I'd have a transcript of a one hour call when in essence all I have is the last line or two of text. It seems like there is potential here but it never worked out in terms of use-fullness. I will play with it again and if I get it to work I will update my review...but my quick review is it's almost totally worthless so don't count on it.

This has a lot of potential. But it only records a couple of sentences. This is not useful for most applications. But the application works great besides this truncation. With minor tweaks this could be badass. But right now it's a garbage lol

Don't know what's going on with this extension. I click the icon to copy the captioning to the clipboard. But when I paste that into a text file, all I ever get is the same short string, which is a date back in April (I think) and the word NULL. I've tried multiple times in multiple Meet sessions. Same useless result every time.

Terrible! Thank goodness I also recorded the meeting, as ~75% of it was MISSING from the transcription. My goodness. I will never use this extension again.

Does Not work, records saves to clip board but they you cant get it. No instructions either.

Cannot get this extension to work, nor can I find any information about how this extension works. Not helpful at all.

i cannot get this to work. The 'Google Meet Transcripts' extension appears on as a clickable icon, but the 'Options' is greyed out and nothing happens. I can get the captions to work during a Meet, but no way to get them to be copied or saved Can I get some help? Thanks

Concept of this is great, would be better if it worked. When I click on the extension icon, the "Options" and "Can't Read or Change Site's Data" items are grayed out and unable to be selected. I updated to the latest version of Chrome and it didn't help.

Unfortunately this extension doesn't seem to be capturing everything when one person speaks for an extended period of time, only capturing the last 200 characters or so, which is disappointing. It was also not clear to me that I had to turn on the transcript recording by clicking the icon. I had no idea that the icon was also a button until I accidentally turned it on. Of course, before I figured out how to turn it on, I thought it didn't work at all.

I am able to capture the transcript in small chunks/ It is not clear how to copy to clipboard transcript of entire meeting say 15 mins. Documentation and help should be far better...
