Once great, now greed has locked 90% of its feature

Worked perfectly until a few days ago, when almost everything suddenly requires premium. Thank you for becoming what this extension helped remove. Enshittification and greed are yet again ruining a once useful tool. This extension gets removed and I will go back to unhook, even if it broke, they at least don't contribute to everyone and their dog now having a subscription.

Was great now its paid subscription bs. Do not waste your time.

Most of features are only by payment. No thanks. You would probably have more success with a donation button than asking us for paying for premium.

Most of the previously free features are now behind the paywall! I started using a new extension called UnTrap.

After the recent update, most of the features I used were put behind a paywall, so I simply downgraded the extension using the CRX file from before the enshittification. Otherwise, it's a good extension.

Was a great little extension until the developer decided to paywall everything. Probably thought he could make bank off the people who need to get a ton of extensions just to make YouTube even halfway usable anymore. What a complete tosser this guy is.

I'm sad to see that 95% of the already existing options are now locked behind a subscription. Crazy. Made it totally useless but I guess you can make a couple dollars a month now. I doubt a lot of people are going to pay for it anyway, most will uninstall it as well instead of keeping basic features. No one in their right mind pays for a web extension, ESPECIALLY not a monthly subscription.

Everything was fine until author decided to grab from you 3$ per month to unlock features. I would understand one time payment but a subscription is a big NO.

Removed it after the latest changes. There are plenty of similar extensions without the paywall and privacy concerns

Amazing extension... however in the latest update 70% of previously free features became paywalled all of a sudden. not cool, not cool at all.

They've just locked existing features behind premium these were previously free to use

Started inserting banners about a "Premium" model and "moving features" behind a paywall. Previously added logging / data collection on an opt-out basis which is illegal in some territories. So far still functional but developer integrity is no longer unchallenged. Update 2026-03: As expected, 90% of the functionality is now locked behind a paywall, so the "still functional" no longer applies - lowered rating from 3 to 1 star. The only reaction of the developer: Rating this review as "not helpful".

Very nice. Really useful. EDIT. Smh, you have to pay now... It was good while it lasted.

Does not actually remove video recommendations. It removes recommendations when you click HOME on youtube. But if you watch a video, it'll still allow youtube to flood most of your viewing space with extra videos. Garbage

I don't normally give negative reviews but Rys has stopped fast forwarding through commercials for me as of yesterday. I did not change any settings. It has stopped working in this aspect. I will be finding an alternative.
