Does not work with Zoom for Government. As soon as it does, I'll be back.
No need to have access to read and change all of the sites you browse. Totally unnecessary apart from to market/sell information about you browsing history. Specifically "Allow this extension to read and change all your data on websites that you" I would change to "on click" rather than on by default to avoid this.
NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT! Calendar issues and no one to reach out to? Contact page doesn't even work for Calendy....wow! I will switch as fast as I can. Calendy will fail if they keep this behavior and don't change.
Calendly is great when it's working. But if you have any issues beware. Customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful. I have been a paying customer since 9/2022. I even upgraded my services in January when my business grew. All of a sudden my services stopped working. I couldn't access the team part of my account. I emailed support. No response. I found a phone number and called. They don't take phone calls. I tried the website. The help center doesn't provide much help. I dislike chat, but all you get is a chatbot which does nothing. I finally got an email four days after I first reached out. They said that there system showed I only have a free account. That's NOT true. I provided information about how much I'd paid, when the account started and when each payment was made. 24 hours later nothing has changed. The Calendly link on my website is currently inoperable. Calendly continues to drag their feet in doing anything to help. If you have a Calendly account, you better pray nothing goes wrong. If something does, you won't get help. They don't care about their customers. They don't care about providing customer support. What an awful way to run a business. If I could rate their customer service less than one star I would.
Wants to be able to read AND read ALL content on websites I'm visiting. Uninstalled!
This was working great for months and then all of a sudden started crashing Google Calendar! Disabling the Extension fixed the issue. Fix it.
something bing like keeps taking up the feed of results - Something has happened to Google Search Community forum - Google Search 4/2/2019 - For anyone having this issue in 2020 - I had this problem, with random ads I looked in developer tools on Chrome and found that the hijacked results were coming ... 5 Recommended answers1928 Upvotes164 Replies This has happen to them all - ONLY the ones that care or notice have come here for the Answer it is this EXTENSION - Watch go take away the permissions and it STOPS I recorded it with developer mode to see the truth
It used to be useful to me solely for the ad hoc meeting scheduler option - now I don't see it in there anymore, so 1*
Calendly support PHISHING and fraud in their user platform - I tried to report fraud being conducted with their platform, and they offered no support at all. Any platform should have the ability to investigate and control abuse being conducted using their services.
I give it 1 star until I understand why it runs at system start up and continues in the background on my computer even when Chrome is closed... That was the notification that popped up after install. If I get a satisfactory reply...then I'll change my review.
This extension has never been great, but now it stopped working as of April 2024. Before, you had to reload every single page whenever you clicked the extension but now in addition to this, the "copy single-use link" feature in the extension simply doesn't copy anything anymore. I have to go to the Calendly website and click 2-3 buttons to generate a single-use link, which basically makes me not need the extension anymore. Considering just switching to Google's new version of Calendly now.
I am a big Calendly fan and long time paying customer. This latest build has added a lot of unnecessary functionality and is creating performance issues. I don't need the Calendly plugin to show me my meetings or contacts, Google already does that for me just fine. The side kick icon is annoying and just gets in the way. Not sure what drove these new features, nobody ever asked me for feedback or feature suggestions. I'd love to roll back to the previous build, or have the option to disable undesired functionality.
Boo! I don't want to grant access for LinkedIn scheduling. Granting access for features I don't want is unfortunate. I've had this plugin installed for two years, but now removing. Please make this feature optional.
Is it just me? This extension requires me to log in. Despite being part of the google ecosystem, when I go to use it I have to TYPE my google mail address, wait for it to recognize me, tell it to "log in with Google", and confirm my ID. I thought the point of having a chrome extension was that Chrome KNOWS you are logged into google. Why does this app not know that? I hardly use it because its so clunky.
It does not really integrate with Google Workspace. It just pretends to and will eventually if you jump through enough hoops.
Overall Thoughts: Calendly’s Chrome extension generally offers a convenient way to schedule meetings without the usual back-and-forth emails. It has strong points like ad hoc link generation and integrations with major calendars. Many users praise it for time-saving features, professional appearance, and relatively smooth workflows. Despite these positives, there’s consistent feedback about needing more robust integration options and better user controls. Some users have raised concerns about privacy permissions, calendar syncing glitches, or lack of multi-language support. Customer support responsiveness also appears hit-or-miss, with some users finding it helpful and others getting no timely assistance. Key Strengths: Time-Saving & Convenient: Most people find the extension invaluable for booking meetings quickly and giving clients a self-service option. Ad Hoc Meeting Links: Creating quick, one-time scheduling links can be a big help for impromptu sessions. Professional Image: Sharing a Calendly link projects an organized, client-focused impression. Areas for Improvement Integration & Speed: Several reviews mention cumbersome or incomplete integrations with Google Calendar, Zoom, and other tools. A snappier and more reliable syncing process would remove much of the frustration users describe. Advanced Features & Customization: More advanced functionality like sending custom links directly from the extension could help target specific clients or potential sales leads, rather than relying on the general scheduling interface. Custom link generation for recurring or specialized events, or easily embedding branding, would enhance the extension’s flexibility. Permissions & Privacy: Some users worry about the extension asking to “read and change all data” on every webpage. Calendly explains why, but toggling permissions on/off more granularly might ease privacy concerns. Customer Support: A few reviewers cite slow response times or insufficient support channels. Improving response consistency and providing clear, in-extension help options would better serve users. Language Support: There’s repeated interest in expanding beyond English, especially Spanish and French. Adding broader language support could make the tool more accessible. Final Take: The Calendly Chrome extension can be a game-changer for scheduling, but it needs to address integration hiccups, offer more targeted link-generation features, and refine its privacy settings. If these points are tackled, Calendly would be well on its way to a higher rating, at least from me.
Works fine, but needs to be updated for Google Calendar dark mode!
Why is generate a link 4 clicks away? I have google for my calendar, I don't need to see a list of only the meetings I have on my calendar that are generated from calendly. I love calendly but seriously who designed this extension? Start over from one button link generation for events I have.
I want to work in Spanish, but there is only English.
I've had a bunch of issues with Calendly. The extension will never work across my apps and i have removed and reloaded several times. And have SO many issues with connecting with my calendars. I still have to review iCal, outlook and google calendar practically every day. If anyone know how to get calendars to work then please let me know. And I complained once and was pretty much told that if i didn't like it to just delete it and move on. Maybe it was a bad day there when they replied to me..
This extension has been causing issues with my google calendar to freeze and google cal only works when I disable this. Is this an issue with a new update or something on your side?
Love the idea. 3/5 for 2 reasons. One is that I cannot book a recurring weekly meeting without putting them in individually. Second is that when I do book my recurring meeting through Google Calendar, I then cannot give access to the person to reschedule through Calendly. I will continue to use it, as I don't like giving out my other calendar for my clients, however those things are my top issues.
?This is new to me,just teach me,one on one, then gradually ease on down/up the road. kay muchachos...........
Good when it works. Loved it in the beginning but not sure if there was a new update that caused it not to work properly anymore...
I still don't understand what is the different on having this calendly extension instead of having the google calendar add on and the zoom metings add on on my gmail side bar?? I mean they do the same plus in calendly I can never know if the meting is going to be on hang outs or zoom. For all it seems that this extension is only a nice way to show people you are organized and stuff but there are 10 time more productive apps out there that integrated with other users.
