Tab Deduper — Close Duplicates

Tab Deduper finds duplicate tabs and closes the extras with one click. It can ignore tracking parameters (e.g., utm_*, fbclid, gclid) and fragments (#…) when comparing URLs, skip pinned tabs, and optionally limit deduping to the current window. The popup shows counts for open/unique/duplicate tabs, lists each duplicate group (keeping the newest), and lets you copy a plain-text report. No site content is read; the extension only inspects tab metadata (title/URL) to detect duplicates. What it does Scan all tabs (or just this window) for duplicates Options: skip pinned, ignore tracking params, ignore fragments Close duplicates while keeping the newest tab in each group Copy a simple dedupe report to the clipboard Notes Some special pages (e.g., chrome://) can’t be closed by extensions. “Ignoring tracking params” affects comparison only; your tabs are not modified unless you choose to close duplicates.
