Doesn't seem to load changes
Use to be amazing but now Reddit does not even load sometimes. It's broken.
Doesn't work, 1st and 3rd gen errors and 2nd gen just returns a blank screen
new.reddit doesn't work
Was great, but after recent update 2nd gen doesn't work anymore. Its seems as most of the consumers prefer 2nd gen but reddit in its all mighty wisdom is naturally pushing a terrible version
2nd gen UI doesn't work anymore
loved this extension, the 2nd gen ui is so much better than the current one but recently has stopped working FIX IT ASAP! i will also edit the rating once this gets fixed
This extension has been a sanity saver, but Reddit has again pushed an update that breaks it's 2nd gen functionality. I will update this review with 5 stars if/when the extension works again. Until then, I refuse to use Reddit in any way, shape, or form. I will not comply with Reddit's demand to use their dysfunctional UI for data collection and AI training purposes.
This was a great addon when it worked. I'm sick and tired of the constant cat-and-mouse game between 2nd-generation UI users and Reddit developers.
I liked it but, recently,it has stopped working.
Doesn't work most of the time.
It was great when it worked, but reddit updated and broke the extension completely, RIP new.reddit :(
has stopped working for new.reddit. is usally pretty good tho
Didn't work, I clicked inject 2nd, new tab open and nothing happened. Account logged in
reddit broke this, peak reddit is no more
i use brave and 2nd gen doesnt work
"New" (2nd gen) has now stopped working, and I'm logged in and the moderator of my own private, empty subreddit, so that's not the issue (which was required to get this to work for a while). It's not this extension's fault, but it does mean that for the time being, the extension no longer serves its purpose, so that's why I'm giving 1 star.
Can this be fixed for "new" (2nd generation) reddit, please?
no longer works, prb because it seems like they removed new.reddit
don't work anymore... ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS with this extension
does not work in the slightest.
Well it used to work now it doesn't it's like reddit doesn't enjoy the idea that we appreciate their previous site and refuse to use the new or something in any event, this extenson is now useless. if it continues to not work, reddit devs have "won"
Update this asap
The pointless hated new UI has won. Shame this has stopped working and I've got to put up with awful design choices.
Just delete the extension it no longer works
No longer works. It just keeps reloading and acting like the page will change.
Doesn't work on latest Chrome on a Mac desktop.
nooo it stopped working :(((((
This just stopped working for me today. It was truly a great add-on but it appears Reddit is making a change so their subdomains/availabe views. Where I am new.reddit.com redirects to www.reddit.com, and the sh.reddit.com page is a mirror of the regular www page. Only the old.reddit.com page still works as it usually did so it looks like Reddit is trying to remove access to the new.reddit.com view which is far superior to the phone optimized garbage of the current page
Stopped working AGAIN !!!
This S### is Broken. Please delete this.
HELP FIX THIS PLEASE
Not working again
Here's something fun. Installed this app, works fine pretty much...but now every time I go to Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, or other online stores, the page refreshes/reverts to the store front page (losing what I was looking at) and suddenly, there's a "source=affiliate" in the URL. And I know it's this extension because it never happened before I installed this extension, and I haven't added any other extensions since. THIS IS MALWARE.
DO NOT USE! Totally spyware/malware of some sort. Bunch of my accounts compromised a few days after installing this. Tested by installing it on a fresh install on a seperate comp I have with new email and other accounts that one also was getting weird login compromises after the install of this.
I dont think this is the extensions fault... but I cant seem to find a way to use new.reddit.com page
no longer works
used to work fine but now its completely broken and reddit wont load. it just shows an error message whenever i try to go to reddit
broken as of 3/27
at first this extension allowed me to use new.reddit.com which was what I needed, but now it's forcing sh.reddit.com with the new design can I change that somehow? update: didn't know right click opens the menu, it works now :) update2: and now it requires more accesses for some reason? yeah maybe let's not do that?
Worked great for a couple weeks, but now it fails to have any effect. "The extension failed to load properly. It might not be able to intercept network requests." Reloading the extension does nothing.
needs to be updated
Stopped working. Was good while it lasted
Worked wonderfully for months to fix the terrible new UI. Suddenly stopped working today for changing to new.reddit. Only works for old.reddit. Needs to be updated.
Was great while it worked, but now returns "Too many redirects".
Hello, please, it's broken again. it's a lifesaver, please update it <3
I want to give this 5 stars because I can finally use 2nd Generation again, but there are two issues: 1. Opening images and links within Reddit using 2nd Generation has problems like infinite loading or pages not fully loading. 2. When using the back button on my browser, it always redirects me to the UIChangerForReddit subreddit. If these issues get fixed, it’ll be perfect.
I wish changing new tabs to new.reddit doesn't take that long
new update broke the add-on, reddit won't load anymore now for me. Had to block this add-on's access to reddit.com for it to work, but i only use it for redd.it pictures anyway
Extension is broken and no longer allows you to use reddit when on. You get a two many redirects error.
