Unstoppable Domains

This used to be a completely different extension for a good while, doing a very different thing. Now it got changed to some shady crypto stuff. Gonna uninstall it literally after writing this review, I just wanted to warn other people cause this is HELLA shady.

I enjoy having to accept permissions to run unstoppable often when I open brave. After months of this stupid pop-up consistently coming back despite me hitting accept, made the call to uninstall. I know that updates and changes can cause another ask for permission (and im glad that your asking rather than just doing it), but its far to cumbersome to the user experience. I have not ever seen these reviews until now and will be doing research about unstoppable so I can figure out if its legit, as always buyer beware

most of the 5 star reviews are from individuals inside the company itself, they engage in astroturfing and their shady business practices are well known at this point. dont let them scam you out of your money

"unstoppable domains" is a ponzi scam. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/unstoppabledomains.com Read some of the reviews: https://trstp.lt/34MPnQLx3 They also send fake 5 star reviews from their own members ( even on this extension rating's ) which you can see by the same last name "Popov". they also wash trade (buy from themselves with different accounts) to make it seem like their fake domains aren't worthless while in reality they are worthless.

Pops up right away in front of what I am doing

Every reboot on any machine, and it pops up right away in front of what I am doing. To the trash!

Installed it, tried to use it, met immediately with the following error when trying to resolve a .eth name: Missing dependency for this functionality. Please install content-hash @ ^2.5.2 via npm or yarn Not sure if they're dropping .eth support? Then tried with a .crypto domain and it appears to redirect to the proper place, but the page still hasn't loaded yet.
