Doesn't work on some sites like Reddit.com

Tab switching is not possible with extensions anymore. I had to make an AutoHotkey script to get it: https://gist.github.com/Chematronix/5d7e12f7e580652aac46dc8080906e4f
NEW UPDATE - Doesn't work. Not updated to match the Chrome updates that made it incompatible. This used to be a very useful plugin for Mozilla Firefox and Chrome too. But it no longer works with latest versions of browsers (for a year at least).

Just doesn't work
sorry unfortunately doesn't work!
As of (April 03th 2016) with Chrome 64bit v49 on Windows 10, I can confirm that this extention doesn't work no matter on what kind of page I am, that I try to hold (Rightclick + Wheel) or (Alt + Wheel) and I see that all post here seems to be from 1-2 years ago so I guess it is now broken. I had to use instead (MouseWheelTabScroll4Chrome) and it is even better considering I don't have to hold a key. It's unfortunate that Google didn't implement this by default, and at least on Firefox you can do it with a simple extention without having to mess around or hold a button.
Much like everyone else, was hopeful but the extension didn't work.
doesn't work.
Does not work at all. Pity.
doesn't work
Doesn't work!!! Simple as that
does not work
Doesn't work for me.
Not working atmo sadly, hopefully the dev can find a way to get round recent changes.
It work's (sort of)... 1- it needs the pages to be fully loaded, so it's not compatible with extensions like "The Great Suspender" for example. 2- it doesn't work in chrome special tabs like chrome:// etc.
not usable on 2019-8-23 22:09
No longer works properly (Chrome 65), switches only to the first left tab and then stops. Does not work in opposite right direction at all.
Not working on OSX, even after restarting Chrome and creating new tabs
not work.
not working
Doesn't work. Installed and tried on my MacBook Pro (early 2011) and nothing happened. Sad.
Right click+mouse wheel did not work with my mouse. No function change at all.
It would be better if you could simply hover the mouse cursor over any tab, and then switch between tabs (left or right) by scrolling the mouse wheel. And as stated in the other comment below, if you could also do a full circle, meaning that, when you get to the end of the tabs (left end or right end) you could carry on through to the other side. (So, if you are at the far right end, you would carry on through to the far left end) It's good to have more options.
It used to work before but thanks to Google Chrome Team it doesn't work any more :(
