Intrusive tabs opening and taking me from other tasks, its just insufferable and made me delete it.

Hate these stupid intrusive tabs opening up and unexpectedly taking me from other tasks for an app that I barely use and now am tempted to delete

its fine but the constant opening up of tabs to get you to write a review is so annoying

Terrible extension. Makes the audio worse and lag every time you switch stuff. Pops up a new tab every time you open your browser or click the extension asking for a review AND has full page ads on said review page too. Absolute garbage.

Okay, so, it initially was decent enough, but after a day or so I realized it was constantly opening a new 'leave us a review' tab designed to not be closable (no cose box, etc.). I was going to let it slide once, but after leaving this review, the popup still appeared, so that reduces this review back to a One.

This extension just popped up the developer's website to ask for a review. And then served up mulitple layers of full-page ads pretending to be captchas. So here's my review: I don't trust a developer that's willing to have that filth on their site.

Opening a tab to ask me to make a rating makes me hate you. Features are good though.

Would have gave it more stars, but it keeps switching away from active tabs to beg me to write reviews. It's a daily occurrence, sometimes multiple times per day. Decided to remove it.

Easy to use, some sites like instagram seem to stay pretty loud until you get down to the very bottom, but still does what it needs to do, thanks! (uninstalled due to review request persisting even after rating 5 stars)

just for the audacity of PINNING a tab for NO REASON other than to create a permanent CTA for reviews every time the extension is in use. Sick.

Too good to be true: it seemed to work great, but now it's causing malicious popups. Google this extension and "Addonup" and you'll find some Reddit discussion about a group of linked extensions, including this one, that have even gone so far as to install SCREEN RECORDERS on users' machines. Obviously uninstalling immediately and scrubbing everything.

works just like promised but -4 stars because now every time i open chrome, it also opens a tab to addonup.com without asking me about it so: basically good addon but seems to be adware and therefore unusable and deleted.

Annoyingly asks for reviews, opening a new tab randomly. It also leaves a tab open when adjusting the volume.

This extension CONSTANTLY opens a new tab in your browser requesting that you review it. I consider this abusive and unacceptable, it will never get more than 0 stars for that alone. Apart from that, while it does allow you to control volume, it does so very poorly. It makes it so that there's a constantly open tab with the UI for the volume slider simply because the developers don't know how to properly make a browser extension. It also will always show that the volume is set to 0% when opening the extension after it's closed, only when you click the slider does it jump to what the volume actually was, then it jumps to where you've clicked. If I had a use for this extension more frequently than very rarely, I would be pulling my hair out. Fortunately I use it roughly once a week at most for a particular site with no volume controls so this gets the job done when I use that site.

Do NOT install this extension! It tricks users by displaying a fake volume pop-up that leads to a "Verify Human" window. Clicking the button copies a dangerous PowerShell command to your clipboard, instructing you to run it via Win+R. Now opens shady Adware websites on all computers with the extension. Im having flashbacks to early 2000's AOL. Was actually working good and I liked the extension but this is despicable behavior on whoever's part that implemented the addonup webpage constantly opening because of this extension. I'm off to try Volume Master hopefully that works the same without the greedy penny pinching shadiness.

Started opening up a tab to "addonup.com" yesterday. Happened again today. My guess is the dev gets money from referrals. Second time I've had to axe an extension because of this. Not cool and unethical! My browser is not free ad space! I do believe this violates the Chrome Webstore policy of "Strange and Unexpected behaviors". Without this I'd give it a 4/5. It works well, but one annoyance is that it opens a tab for the extension every time you want to control the volume of a particular page.

bad, always force to open tabs

It keeps resizing other windows instead of the tab I'm working on and won't properly full-screen the video in the tab I'm watching.

Made the volume quality absolutely terrible when i try to boost the volume of tabs.

It's not working & I can't fix it & nobody can help me !!!! I need the volume booster very much!!! HELP ME!!!
