I can't lose!! it's like it's programmed to always win. This is a new computer and on my old Acer it was hard to win a Spider solitare game. This is no fun. What happened?
Back in '98. NATO and UN falce evidence of terrorist activity on Kosovo and Metohija, and accuse Serbian police and military that kills civilians. Without proclaming the war to Serbia, they started to bomb military, but also CIVILIAN targets (such as hospitals, schools, bridges, TV stations, etc.) mostly using forbiden casset-bombs and bombs rich with uranium.
the game is fine, its this absurd fool of an application that needs attention, working better now use it quite a lot ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, regards al
Was good until it started automatically playing loud annoying ads - I don't mind a print ad down the side of the page but I don't want to loose the whole screen and then have to wait until the "skip ad" pops up. Make these annoying ads smaller and quieter please!!!!!
Quit making me do this survey!!!!
unusable
Boring, I liked the game it replaced. This only lets you win 10% of the time
very poor
This game sucks. 1 star.
Once upon a time I loved this Solitaire. I usually was not interested in the accompanying ads, but sometimes "clicked" on them just to reward the author of this game. Today I clicked on one for the Wisp broom cleaning system and immediately had a screen full of warnings about a virus. (Don't recall the name; it started with a "Z".) I fled to safety without clicking on anything, cleared and rebooted. I use a Chrome Book (harder to infect) to play, so it seems that I dodged a bullet on this one. DO NOT CLICK ON THIS GAME'S ADS - the SysAdmin does not properly screen them.
This is the worst spider solitaire game I have ever played, but it's the only one that I can find free anymore. The other games could be saved to my desktop, but this one I have to go online to play. It doesn't keep score - the score is always 520. It reverts to its original settings at odd times and I have to go back and set the game up again. I've always been able to use certain keys to enable functions - F2 to start a new game, "m" for a hint, hit "enter" for highlighted boxes, click anywhere to shorten the wait time to set up a new game... and many other shortcuts I can't even recall - but with this version you have to use the mouse to click on the boxes. I don't think the timer is accurate either. I hate this version, but this is all that's available through Windows 10.
It's a perfect way to waste precious life.
Once upon a time, I loved this game. But this new update is the worst difficulty level that I have every seen - moderate difficulty is BS - I have a 87% lose rate. looking for another game to play
Game added a pop up ad banner at bottom. have to close to when buttons for game play. A real pain.
I used to like this game a lot until they changed the way it saves scores. Now whenever I start the game it goes back to zero and I find that really annoying. I can't see what my best streaks are etc, and I have to continually change the background, etc. each time. I really used to like this game.
I don't like not having a tutorial option forcing me to guess when I've done something right.
crap
The problem is it's waaaayy too easy to get dealt a position that makes winning impossible. Too many positions where card A has to be moved off card B so that card C can be moved, but card C is sitting on top of card A. Or the card covering a pile has the card they need to be moved onto underneath, and so they can never be moved.
Doesn't work on a Windows 8.1 touch screen.
What happrned to the Help button? It used ti work. Now it doesn't
I hate the cards jumping automatically. Even while holding the button down they often jump. Also when trying to reverse the move, it sometimes reverses two moves. Would like to be able to stop the automatic moves.
have to move every card every time. other games will move a run with one click.
The size and color of the cards, perfect. The game plays fast and consisted. The cost to play this online game, $0 is off the charts kind and generous of the developer. I give this game a 5 star
I love this game it's awesome!
This used to be excellent and was the best of all free apps available however of late it has been running very slowly and not making the moves requested immediately which has now become very frustrating to play and get a good time.
Crude implementation of SS. When clicking a card to move, will default to the left even when there is a better choice to the right -- sometimes even picks the wrong suit! Will not allow a new set of cards when there is an empty slot towards the end of the game, which means one has to break apart ordered groups just to get a deal -- often resulting in an unnecessary higher score. Ideally one should be able to pick a "win-able" game and compare one's performance with others. Needs work!
Numbers are too small. Difficult to read or see. Not as enjoyable as other solitaire games I have played.
Not smooth flipping animation, no rules that I could find, and the background is busy to the point of being distracting
actually i really liked the app a-lot but.... after i had beat the game so many times all it would give me was "unsolvable games". then i could never win. BOOO!
I can only win 1 out of 17
The deals typically reveal multiples of the same cards. For example, deal and get four eights, the next deal you will get 3 or 4 fives. They are never actually random.
Poor card (number) generation
relaxing, and great to have a win.
lIt is obvious the game is set up, how about just shovel and play. I get ridiculous.
Why exclude older players by design? I play this on my phone which means that your new ads are eating up a larger portion of my screen than a laptop version. Even with high magnification reading glasses and bumping the in-ap font size, I cannot read the tiny card font, since it's size has been reduced by overbearing and screen eating ads which do not go away from the left side of the screen. This is not a plus to your advertisers, who reduce the number of viewing users by making the game unusable! Nor does this show thoughtful and inclusive design for the large number of older users with sight issues.
There needs to be a higher winning percentage for Spider Solitaire. I'm guessing the wins are about 1% of the games played. Fun, but frustrating.
I like the game, but one thing aggravates me. When I stop playing, even sometimes when I finish the game and win, when I come back to playing again, it would mark the game as a loss instead of a win. And sometimes the game freezes after a win, then marks it down as a loss. My computer is new and it does not freeze for any other games that I play, just this one for some reason, but only when I win. Weird........
I actually don't like this Spider Solitaire as well as others I've had. It doesn't give me a score or a time and isn't as user friendly as others I've had in the past. Therefore I just tend to not play it as often. I do appreciate that it's free, so can't complain.
Spider solitaire is alright, but scorpion has an atrocious bug where not all games are playable till the end! you need to redo the code on this one
Score never changes and the motion is choppy. Sound is hit and miss
Meh. Liked other versions better. On my last hand, it said I couldn't win, when I could. It moves cards when I don't intend to do so.
This Solitaire game is no fun if there is not a personal score I can beat. I used to play Spider Mania Solitaire and it kept track of my top ten scores so everytime I played, I played wanting to beat my best score. The score was based on how quick and efficient, i.e. number of moves I did while playing a single solitaire game. Your game gives no incentive to play other than to kill time. Also, fireworks went off when I won which was really cool...the flying cards not so cool.
I love the game but unable to totally enjoy with all the ad interruptions!
I don't like the sound effects, particularly the timing and inconsistency of them. Sometimes I don't get a sound when I make a move, other times I do. Sometimes I get applause at the end--I wish I could shut that off. I hate it how we always get the same score--must be designed by one of those "everyone gets a blue ribbon" socialists. We can't know if we're improving.
The game is basically good but the random number generator the game uses is poor. It frequently deals sets of cards which have noticeable 'patterns' which are far from random. For example, all even or all odd, or all Jacks, 8s and 5s. Also it is clearly designed to frustrate stack building by withholding many of the cards of a particular value until the last deal. This is particularly true of 7s, 8s and 9s (which are key cards in stack building)
I don't want to see political commercials while playing a game!
I love playing this game, but lately adds have started popping up in between games, which is very annoying. I play to relax, not to be bombarded with adds.
The most appalling coding I have come across in a very long time. Applause when sound is set to off, Message that the game is over when there are still obvious moves to make and complete the game, hint prompting moves to unmatched suits when there are matched suits to move to, etc. Which is why I love it but the errors mean I cannot rate it a 5. Enhancements that could be made are (excluding the above Additional points for getting 4 red then 4 black or visa versa fewer additional point for 2 one colour, 4 opposite colour & 2 starting colour In other words, additional points for sequencing
My review would have been higher if they hadn't added all this full page advertising in that cannot be dismissed. It was a great game for a long time. I am curranty search for a new game.
Do not like the new ads!
