No import in free version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never could get it to work. I set up an account, verified it, and everytime I wanted to save something except in the 'web page', I had to log in each time and then it never saved to the 'web site page'. Useless. I don't know if I just don't understand what they are trying to do, but I wanted to save bookmarks and then be able to sort them out into folders. However, it must do something else.
Yet ONE MORE APP that wants to extort the user out of money. If I paid for every single app which wanted money, I would be poor. There is no trial to even test the Premium features, and from what I can read, there is NO import to Google Bookmarks feature. I refuse to pay for this type of app, and I think all users should protest. We've become a society where all we want is to take, take money. Stop the madness.
There are much better free tools available
Seriously? Sure I like it, but I'm not going "premium" just so I can import my bookmarks. Maybe if I could import them and play around a while and figure out if I love it and want some premium features you offer, then MAYBE I'd sign up for something. But this? No. C'mon. If you're confident you've got a great program, let people use it with the absolute basic features like importing bookmarks. Or at least a trial or something.
no plugin installed once added to chrome
Horrible. Did nothing but get my email address as part of the sign-in Feels like a scam. Oh well, I gave the dolt my garbage email anyway.
No Import, Not even once.. uninstalling ..
I could not even enroll without getting an error message which I could not correct.
Would have rated it to 0... useless
BOF
Meaningless to need to pay for importing bookmarks.
i need a bookmark manager EXTENTION, not a separate site or prepaid service.
this thing appears to want me to add my hundreds of existing bookmarks by hand. either that of there is no intuitive way to do an import from the browser. export feature is fairly prominent. if import function is somewhere hidden behind a pro version then the author is missing the point. i'm not going to pay for an app i don't yet know if i like to use or know hat it does in fact perform what i want it to. edit: found in the bug requests that import is in fact a premium feature. i think this is backwards. let me import my bookmarks first. see how fell this thing works at organizing them, then if i like the fruits of the labor, to export it solicit the payment. i'm not going to pay for something i have no way to experience using before hand. uninstalled
not easy to instal and the instructions made no sense deleted!
trash
have to pay to import bookmarks. no thank you
Registration is not work. Wright "Captcha wrong! Please type again!" But no Captcha on the screen.
to import you have to pay!!!! ripoff It should tell you that in the description.
nothing free can not import your bookmarks unless you pay for at least a month.
it does not work they keep saying that they sent me a confered email adress
This app may or may not work. Never got as far as evaluating it, since it is useless in organizing your old bookmarks - the free version will not import them, and you are invited to pay a monthly subscription to find out if it will [work]. Changing the theme (essentially wallpaper) appears to be full of bugs, since doing so generates half a screen of script errors. Sorry, but the carrot of being able to do all claimed in the teaser would have let me part with a one-time fee. The bull**** of asking a subscription price even before I got to see anything else gives you the stick.
horrid you have to pay to enjoy its features...straight garbage
Have to pay import!
it's not free and you must create an account on their page
Couldn't figure out how to import existing bookmarks
you did a great job on the interface and i think the previous one was more easy to manipulate: :( for example i have a lot of bookmarks and if i create a folder and if i want to put it in first position of the bookmark bar, it is really hard and long to do
No easy way to import bookmarks from my browser.
Didn´t worked out
No documentation. Impossible for me to figure out. I'm dumping it
I'm looking for a research tool for gathering information online and keeping it organized somewhere for annotation later, something like diigo, but reliable, so that it is useful rather than wasteful. So I gave this app Bookmax a shot and tried hard as I could, but cannot understand what to use it for at all. It does, however, seem to work well, and is well designed for whatever it does for people. The sales model creeped me out quite a bit, though, I have no idea how they will ever be successful...
I didn't even start using it. I don't want to have my account deleted if I don't use it frequently.
1. You must pay to import bookmarks - NOT a free feature as their site claims. 2. Be at least mildly suspicious of 5-star reviews: the developer gives you a free month of Premium if you send him a link of a 5-star review at the chrome store or positive reviews on other social web sites. 3. As per site, "[T]here is no guaranty provided, that your data will not be lost. So you better export your online bookmarks, lists, contacts or memos from time to time and save it on your harddisk." I should have read this before installing. 4. It earns 2 stars for the drag-and-drop interface alone. I wish Google Bookmarks had thought of it first and hold on to the hope it will adopt it and still keep it free.
Import is only for premium users. I have my bookmarks to html. Xmarks you miss me!
This is just a redirection to the main site. It would be nice if they had an extension that let you bookmark websites
Good try.
