I can set up rules to delete new emails for free. what I need is bulk unsubscribe, which this extention charges you 1 credit per 1 email unsubscribed... no thanks
It's not free. You have '24' uses--- which means you can only delete from 24 senders. ABSOLUTELY infuriating and an absolute scam, imo
It's not free.
thats is not free, is very limited.
last year, i installed the extension and due to whatever distraction, i never used it or saw it work post-install. now, i just read that Inbox Purge only works for 7 days once installed. might uninstalling/reinstalling it reset the 7 day trial or is there a better way to do that? i look forward to seeing this tool bulk unsubscribe and delete unwanted gmails and will update my rating when i do.
worked once then failed to load after i bought it. would give zero stars if i could
This is a pay app, The free version is very limited to only 10 uses.
Only paid service and don't waste time selecting group mails..
This is what Gmail should have by default. Only downside and the main reason I gave it one star, after you delete twenty bundles of emails it stops working. Rendering it, kinda useless. How hard is it for them to just allow you to bulk delete everything. Really now.
premium bs
Only 20 unsubscribes a month unless you pay. Why bother giving us a demo that doesn't work. And why is it not labeled a demo version?
it is not user friendly and it does not delete everything.
paid service
DANGER - this app may delete your notes off of your notes app. This app seems to work well, but deleted notes off of my Apple Notes app that were connected to my email account - without me clicking ANY settings that would have asked for that. And, as I didn't notice this until I'd fully removed everything from my deleted folder in my gmail account, I don't have the opportunity to restore them. I lost SO MUCH important info.
Fro 5 bucks, it only deleted 20 subscriptions, which wasn't disclosed up front.
waste of time and Money
bro wants to make me pay when I start to unsubscribe. if you are looking for a free way to do this, don't waste time installing this extension
This requires you to purchase a subscription to continue deleting emails. worthless.
Not working. Showing that i dont have any subscriptions. Uninstalled.
Cannot bulk unsubscribe
It is so, so tiresome to discover a useful tool that ends up seducing you into purchasing a subscription or credits. So yes, super awesome, but I will have wasted more time uninstalling this app than cleaning up my inbox manually. But, it get's worse -- as you look for and install other extensions (I tried 3 -- recommended by ChatGPT no less) that are in fact "free") --- prepare yourself. When you run the extension, BOOM: "Sorry, but the developer has not completed a Google certification" of some kind. In other words, it's yet another ploy -- completely intentional by Giganticus Google to BUY EXTRA GOOGLE STORAGE! For golly sakes -- I must be getting old -- everything these days is some kind of clever maneuver resulting in adding a subscription to a debit or credit card that you will (ok, me at least) forget about for several months. What does getting "old" have to do with it? Because younger generations weren't around before the Regan era of deregulation, before monoliths like Google have NO COMPETITION. Name another search engine you can use? There were 5 back the early 90's. Today - zero. Sorry for the rant -- a review is the only place to have any singular voice in the 'modern' age.
It works great for deleting emails in bulk, the super delete function is very convenient. What is NOT stated on the website or extension store listing is they limit how many emails you can bulk delete per month without paying for their "unlimited" plan. I don't know what the limit is exactly, I'm confident its over 1000. Many will never reach this limit, but I'm annoyed it wasn't mentioned anywhere.
I thought you had 7 days to use the product however, it popped up for me to utilize the program and after I spent an hour clicking and reading and setting it all up, I clicked the button for it to do its magic and it informed me I could only select 20 for the month and I had exceeded that amount and it offered for me to pay. I hit cancel and will now be uninstalling the extension. It needs to be written that at 20 it stops you or it clearly states its not free for 7 days and that no matter what you get 20 clicks and leave it at that.
works BUT... unsubscribing (without deleting emails) leads to those senders being "blocked" - i.e. Inboxpurge seems to create a gmail filter that deletes all further emails from that sender. So if you want to "unsubscribe" from something, that also means all further emails from that sender moving forward will automatically be deleted. While that is often what I want, it is not *always* what I want. Too much of a blunt tool for me unfortunately, and not what I wanted from an "unsubscribe" feature. I also don't want to sift thru 50+ emails on the filter to find the senders I might need to receive something from again in the future. Disappointing.
Helpful to see all the subsrciptions I need to go through, and the paid tier is generally probably pretty helpful, but the fact that the software blocks a capability that Gmail has for free (select ALL emails in a search, not just the first page so you can delete them all) and then won't let you use that functionality without paying makes it worthless. I will stick with CleanFox.
The advertising says it's free and runs locally with the extension. Neither is true, it's freemium with big limits on free functionality, and it absolutely DOES NOT RUN LOCALLY, the first time you use it you have to log into their systems so the processing can be done there. I cannot state whether this product is good or bad because if they lie to me at the very beginning, nothing else matters to me. Your product can't actually be good if you feel you have to lie to get people to install it.
Works great too, really happy...
Works fine but only 20 tries
The extension is great and does work well, however, the 20 selection then you have to pay the limit makes it feel misleading.
easy to use, helped to clean a little...wish it had more "deletes/unsubscribes" available.

It's good and I love the time savings that it gives me by allowing me to bulk delete all emails from a sender. However, it lacks one vital functionality: To not just unsubscribe and delete, but also to report a sender as spam so that Google can learn that a particular sender has purchased my emails in some list.
Was unable to use as it failed to open the google permissions box.
