Please be aware that the extension reverts to the "off" state whenever the browser restarts. To prevent this, use the "Enable on start" option in the extension settings (right click on extension button, then "Options").

The extension frequently turns off automatically for no apparent reason. I never encountered this issue with the Cache Killer Classic version, and that's why I can't give this more than 3 stars. In its current unreliable state, I'm not sure it's worth keeping. Before Cache Killer Classic was removed from the extension store, it was the best flush-cache extension because it operated in the background reliably and predictably. There was no need to constantly check if the extension was still active or to click an icon every few refreshes. If I can't trust an extension to do its job, I usually just remove it.
