Description

This extension extracts order history from your Amazon account. Amazon used to provide csv reports for US customers only, but it didn't include digital orders, shipping, total amount, or payment information. Sometime in the middle of 2020, Amazon withdrew the feature even in the USA. This extension aims to fill the gap. How to Use ---------- After you install the extension, you won't see anything until you view your order history on the website (Your Account -> Your Orders). Get to your orders page, then click on the extension icon at the top right of the Chrome window; look for an orange upper case A. Once you do this, you should see buttons with years on the extensions pop-up window. Clicking on one of these buttons causes the extension to sift through all of your order pages and show you a searchable, sortable table with all of the orders in. It can take a few seconds to get all of the pages. A blue button enables you to download a CSV (viewable in Excel and other spreadsheet programs) of the order table the extension has assembled. It's better not to have more than one amazon tab open while the extension is doing stuff. I (Philip) find the Items CSV more useful: https://github.com/philipmulcahy/azad/blob/master/doc/img/items_csv_2023-12.png Here's a slightly more wordy quick-start guide: https://github.com/philipmulcahy/azad/blob/master/README.md#quick-start-instructions Currently supported: amazon.com.au, .ca, .de, .es, .in, co.uk, com, .com.mx (partial), .ae (experimental). For at least some of these sites, I know that the extension is missing some of the native language strings it needs to find your data. Many users, particularly in Germany seem to use the english version of their country's site to get better results, but if you want better results in your language, you can help me by providing order debug information and marked up screenshots showing me where the missing/wrongly scraped data can be found. For other Amazon sites, please submit debug information as described in https://github.com/philipmulcahy/azad/blob/master/README.md Bug reports are gratefully accepted (see github link below), with extra points awarded for: 1) reproducibility - if you describe it well and I can reproduce it then it's normally straightforward to fix. 2) staying in contact - fire and forget bug reports are often impossible to reproduce and are seriously demotivating. 3) using courteous language. 4) using English - you're not paying me and while I can scrape by in French and German, I'm spending more of my spare time on this project than you are, and it's not about learning human languages. 5) having read the (very brief) instructions - and if English is not your favorite language, you have two choices: i) Google translate (don't send it to me!) ii) Sending me a translation (better than Google's) of the instructions. I will figure out how to incorporate it and list you in the credits. Feature requests: if there's a github ticket outstanding for the same thing, please add your thoughts there rather than making a new one. You can signal your sincerity by clear communication and responsiveness to follow-up queries. Changes 1.16.19 --------------- #390 Show transaction scraping progress in the control pop-up. #391 New, third transactions scraping strategy for when transaction layout is flattened AND has obfuscated html attribute names. Changes 1.16.18 --------------- #366 (Some) card details missing from payments. #375, #386 (Some) gift payments missing. #381 Cache available years: faster start up, particularly for new users. Changes 1.16.17 --------------- #361 Some transaction refunds were not signed correctly. #383 USA (and others?) digital orders not being discovered correctly, including some from current year being included in scrapes for previous years. Changes 1.16.16 --------------- #369, #372, #384 UK payments for physical orders restored after Amazon html "obfuscation", by generalising the strategy used for transactions. Depends on user supplied strings used to identify the relevant text in the order detail pages. We've got english and german. I await bug reports that'll enable me to tackle french, spanish etc. Changes 1.16.15 --------------- #375 Some gift payment amounts (and a smaller number of order totals) went missing - now restored. #379 fix missing order date on some digital orders (maybe only subscriptions) Amazon have become quite inconsistent on letter case. Source Code ------------- https://github.com/philipmulcahy/azad contributors (Thank you!): https://github.com/philipmulcahy/azad/graphs/contributors Premium Features --------------- Please read: https://github.com/philipmulcahy/azad/blob/master/doc/commercial_features.md Donations --------------- If you'd like to thank me financially, please don't! Don't worry: just redirect your gratitude here instead: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/azad-pah Donations entitle you to nothing except a warm feeling of righteousness/generosity. Premium Subscriptions --------------- It is necessary to subscribe ONLY if you want to use a small set of features aimed at commercial users. Paying for an annual subscription also entitles you to any new subscription-only features I might add during your subscription period. Please see the blurb in the subscription flow for more details, also: https://github.com/philipmulcahy/azad/blob/master/README.md#subscribe-to-premium-features. I offer no warranty of any kind: this is a personal project that you are welcome to use and contribute to. I am a human being, not a corporation and I don't make my living from this extension. Please bear that in mind before complaining about bugs or making false statements in your reviews of this product - others have been there ahead of you: The most amusing (and demotivating) posts tend to fall into one or more of the following three categories: i) I ordered stuff from you and it hasn't arrived: no stars for you Philip (I am not Amazon, and you haven't given me any of your money). ii) Your extension stole my credit card details (It never sees your card details - only stripe.com gets those - and it carefully avoids seeing your amazon login credentials as well - you are free to inspect the source code to verify this) iii) You have to pay, and it still doesn't work. (You don't, and I'm sorry it's not working for you - would you like some help?) Strangely none of the authors ever follows up with evidence or indeed any reasoned feedback at all. New Commercial Features --------------- If you seek new commercial features, please read https://github.com/philipmulcahy/azad/blob/master/doc/commercial_features.md before even thinking about contacting me directly. I am bored of reading proposals from malware distributors.

Sorry but I may be too dense to use this because I don't see how to make it work. I just simply want to search by orders by date. I was led to believe this extension fixed the Amazon screw up by sorting by date ordered, but alas I don't see it does anything.

Installed and tried the extension. Nope. Nada. "No scrapeable years found. It is likely you don't have a tab open that can see your amazon orders." I have my orders page opened up to the first page. Tested on previous pages and, again, squat. I reckon that it is Amazon blocking this information but it could be the Extension. Don't have time to waste so "DELETE". Too bad, I could have really used this....

Bought this and have no idea how it works. Can't get it to work. Can't figure out how to cancel it so I don't get auto renewed. This seems to be a scam.

I did pay for it, but now it says I did not. It says it can not find my email when I refresh the extension. It also appears to miss an occasional item. More misses, and I still could not all features even though I contributed. The money was for a charitable organization - too bad it the follow-through is missing.

You can't do anything without paying money. You literally have to pay for a "preview," and then pay again for the app!! All I want to do is find out how much I spent on Amazon this year. That's not worth making multiple payments. Really it's not even worth one payment.

I haven't been able to get this to work. I contributed to Just Giving and then when digging deeper find out that it's purely a donation and doesn't enable the extension. Apparently, you have to give $7.50 to another site to get functionality. This is very deceptive and I feel taken even though it seems to be a good cause but I don't appreciate being misled like this.

Very deceptive purchase. DO NOT BUY. It is a fraud

We installed this application, as it seemed to be the best option on the marketplace. We paid for this, through the internal link inside of the extension, to support the developer and their mission. On the same day, the credit card used started to be fraudulently charged for fake Facebook Ads accounts, and other random charges from India, through Payu Retail PG. We had to cancel the brand new card that was used, and get a new one. This is highly deceptive, and if they are scraping data from your Amazon account, and have your CC#s, then this is a criminal extension.

This is not a free Extension You must pay (a donation) to use, even though the creator says he has a day job and does not accept payment.

Garbage! The promise of collecting all of your digital orders into a CSV is FALSE. It only processes the regular orders from Amazon. Not a single digital order was included after SEVERAL attempts. Maybe it's Amazon's fault, maybe not, but this extension is useless for doing what it claims.

DO NOT USE THIS . I would never use this again . with 6 hours of installing it , i am getting spam emails with my passwords from chrome , asking for money or they will share my alleged porn history. Our security is normally tight and we never install these types of apps , but we desperately needed our amazon history for our accounts . MORE FOOL US

It's been looking at 3 years of my orders, and for 24 straight hours. It worked on really small files, but couldn't process a couple hundred orders.

First, the software did work fine and did exactly what it says. And, it gets all the data for every purchase that you could possibly want. BUT, BEWARE! Shortly after using this software I started getting orders for things I did not order. And, they (whoever they are) ordered multiple gift cards and Norton 360 software downloads & licenses that you CAN NOT get refunded for. I was lucky and discovered the charges early and was able to get refunded on 2 of the 3 gift cards before they were cashed in and made non-refundable. I was charged for the rest and had to have my bank cancel the payments. I can't be sure that they gained access to my account from this software but I haven't used or purchased anything from Amazon since I used this extension. And, to make things even more suspicious, I also had my eBay account accessed in a similar way right after using the extension "Ebay Purchase History". So, BEWARE! Make sure you change your password and have Amazon log out of all connected devices immediately after using this extension! IMMEDIATELY AFTER!

I tried 6 times and read all the articles associated. it seems to scrape ok but not downloadable and it doesn't total any off the columns. I am happy for those that got this to work but for me this was pretty disappointing. good idea though

I donated today and it said I did NOT. I have a receipt, but it said it didn't recognize my email address. Please outline the steps for how to make it work. Thank You so much!

It gives you 1 2 or 3 month options. I tried to reload and have amazon display 2021 results and still says the same thing. It appears it is a paywall, but says its not paywalled in the glitch? So if its a glitch this is me reporting it.

Doesn't work. Table with numbers are there and they seem valid but the output or the "total / all"-amount stays empty. page=0.00; all=0.00 even if there are valid numbers. No total results, which is the main reason I installed the addon. Useless in my opinion.

★★☆☆☆2023-03-30

Shows full price only, not price paid after discount(s) and/or subscribe and save. Easy to use but no value-added without the actuals.

This may have worked before based on the built in reports Amazon used to let you pull using the www.amazon /b2b/reports. This was sunset march 20th and this extension likewise now no longer works.

Clicking download csv just redirects to Amazon order page and doesn't download anything. Also, I chose 2021 which I know should have 307 orders but the extension only shows 66 - even though I chose "show all"

Not so good... Seems to work properly, but only allows whole-year history-- not single month, or custom date range. Also does not separate orders into individual items-- it just provides a single amount for all items. Also has bug that (often) erroneously puts amounts into the gift category. Poor substitute for the order history reports formerly available directly in Amazon.

No total sum displayed, I assume due to 3 errors. 99% of purchases are correctly displayed though, should be easy to discard the erronous rows?

★★☆☆☆2018-07-22

Almost perfect, but one bug makes it practically useless to me. the letter "Â" is inserted before every Price listing. so for example, instead of the "total" of an order being "£5.99", its "£5.99". This may seem like a nitpick, as all i need to do to fix it is to delete one letter, but this quickly becomes a problem when i have hundreds of orders i need to do this to individually. There may be a way to fix this in excel due to it being such a simple problem, so if anyone tells me how i would much appreciate it

Too slow. Too many refreshes. It doesn't show the whole history. If you have free items like free ebooks, it gets screwed.

It is a really great idea, but for me it only summarizes digital orders. When I'm on the My Orders page, I'm looking at real items I purchased over the last week or month. So when I use this extension why is it grabbing strictly digital orders? Bizarre! If it actually worked for my regular items - I'd give four or five stars. But I have no use for a summary of digital orders (books, movies etc.). It's merchandise orders which can be confusing to reconcile with a credit card statement.

Thanks. It was certainly most helpful. However I could see some issues as mentioned below 1. I couldn't find the spent amount ,for which I've paid through amazon pay 2. In some places amount is mentioned as ₹ , while in other places it's mentioned as Rs. Even though both are right representation for Indian rupees , it'd be nice to see some consistency.

Using from Amazon.ca and while the extract works, the most important detail (prices) is missing. The entire column is just zeros. =/

Tried to use it in new Edge (Chrome core). Apparently it doesn't pulled out most columns. Tried to use it in Chrome 91.0.4472.77 against amazon.ca. It pulled out most of columns. Some columns got wrong values or zero value or got value from another column. Some columns are missing like Grand Total, Total before Tax. Keep going!

On again, off again: I use this extension perhaps twice a year. Last March, it was working fine, but this time, it is not working. I'm confident that it will be updated, and it is not fair to say it is a problem since Amazon made the changes. The developer does a great job making sure that the plane is ready to take off, but I guess I have to treat it like an ATM, and be ready to do something else when I need to use it on a specific date.
