This thing literally injects random google search terms using your google account. Check your google activity history and you will find searches for things you never searched for. It's basically malware.

Downloads always stop at 25% and stay there. Dont recommend.

The interface is confusing and I can't get any audio to play on the files I've downloaded.

This extension become useless now. No video detected from live stream anymore, might as well just delete this extension to stop wasting other people time.

The version 0.4.7 shows connection broken something now. Older version 0.4.5 works good

Fair warning, this extension is a traffic eater and it took me a long time to figure out what was causing the problem. Every time I launch my browser it eats up between 90 and 150 MB and the reason for this behavior is the extension itself!

How do you save? I saw the black window popped up saying download, and the white window showing the referrer, page title and page links. But where is the SAVE button? ctrl-v does not work on the white window. Is there a tutorial I could watch?

It can't find the file/playlist of live streams on Steam Store.

This was a great tool for years but over the past couple weeks it has not worked and has downloaded unreadable files, cannot even be converted after the fact.

UPDATE (8/22/2022): Back to being broken completely. Only way I can select the file I want to download from the list is by hitting "Select All", because the check box and the download buttons by each item don't work. The "Download All" button works when everything is selected, but it won't let you actually download anything even though it makes you select a folder to download to. Original: 4 STARS After using this app for months, it stopped working for months. I found a replacement that was worse but did the job most of the time by essentially recording videos in the background as they play but it was a slow trash way of doing the job. I went to search for another replacement after the replacement didn't work on the video and I find out that this extension is working again. The user interface is clunky and buttons don't always work but the extension does what it's supposed to again finally.

Used to work flawlessly on Douyin live streams but now it only detects and downloads AUDIO streams. The saved file does not have a video stream. It used to be able to detect the original, highest-quality stream, as well as HD and SD video streams but now does not find ANY of those.

Nope, another one that doesn't do a good job in the file naming department. Stream Downloader does a better job. Too bad, having the download's go trough a new window has some merit although it does clutter up the task bar so 1 window and then tabs for added download options would be better. Also not a fan of it saving files as .mkv, I rather have .mp4 files but that's just my personal preference.
