It used to be a great extension, but now it doesn't work. It disables your extensions and won't let you re-enable them.
Disables all, re-enables none.
Broken. It does not re-enable anymore
Doesn't work anymore. Please don't install this.
Stopped working months ago. Should be banned from the Chrome Web Store.
Disables all the extensions and clicking on the button again doesn't reenable them. Piece of junk. This extension should be removed from the store.
Works fine to disable extensions but they all disappear from the toolbar and don't come back when you reenable.
Noticing it "deletes" my enabled extensions after a few minutes of disabling all extensions. Fix please. Plus. Why change the color to red?Uninstalled!
It used to work fine but now when reenabling extensions, all extension show as disabled and you need to reenable each one at a time.
Don't waste your time. Turns them off. That's it. It will not turn them back on.
Really not usable as is. Will disable but not re-enable. I'll look for other.
Broken.
No longer works
Extension broken. Deleting until they fix it but it's been weeks and it looks like they just don't care.
Talk about if it ain't broke don't fix it. I have only seen an update just as bad from Sonos when they bricked half their speakers in one night.
The recent update broke the extension completely - it only disables extensions but doesn't re-enable them. I had several extensions turned on, and I do not have a record of which ones were on to provide the web experience I curated a long time back. I will be deleting the extension for one of the alternatives until a fix arrives.
It's broken now - re-enabling doesn't reactivate extensions.
after recent update few days back, this extension is dead, it disables all and does not re enable all.... deleting this extension now till fixes come, very bad ...
Dunno what they changed other than the colour chanching, but it bugs out and just changes to green when I try to re-enable my extensions. Stopped working since 30/03/2025.
Recently extension seems to have become malicious. Page redirects when searching. Uninstalling or disabling extension resolved the issue. Coincidence?
not working ..after disable it dont get enable
No longer works as of December 22
I tried to use this extension to diagnose which ones were causing issues and it made everything 100x worse. I now have roughly 10 duplicates of each extension on my toolbar now.
DO NOT INSTALL, resets extension settings
Doesn't get rid of the puzzle piece.
I was very annoyed that it closed many of my open tabs, as well as removing from my history, so I could not recover them. Although, it did indeed disable all my extensions. I enabled them by hand, as I was hoping to use this tool to debug what extensions were causing an issue with another. And the tabs I had open, were not interacting directly with any extensions I had loaded.
This extension did the job, but when reactivating extensions, it didn't re-add the icons to the right of the url bar and stuffed them all into the overflow menu. This is not a documented side effect, though I do see some others mention it now, so it gets a 1 star unless fixed (which I doubt it will be considering it was last updated in 2012).
Ask me 5 years ago if I would of moved from Firefox to chrome and I would of laughed in your face. So many plugins available like this one. Just missing multirow toolbar but I can live with that! EDIT: No. It doesn't remember if the icon is hidden from the chrome menu or not. 5 star to 1. Also turns on all the extensions that were previosly disabled. Just some friendly cristisim. if that was fixed then 5 stars once again.
There was no warning that my theme would disappear and all extensions would be hidden from the toolbar. I just wanted to disable them temporarily, not move everything around and permanently remove my theme...
i can disable them then i have to manually enable. just wont work for me.
It made me lose the theme I had, and I couldn't find it again. Wish I had read the reviews first.
Hardly ever works. Often it won't turn anything back on and you have to open extension and turn them back on yourself.
Removes theme and extension saved next to address bar. Doesn't restore them.
Removes design and temporarly ALL extensions. you can't adjust it to a specific extension
WARNING!!! This extension closes most of your tabs in all your windows and removes all the extension icons next to the omnibox. Be sure to have Session Buddy installed to recover your tabs! Fortunately I did. You can drag the right edge of the omnibox (url bar) to restore the icons. It is a good idea but a very poor implementation. You click the button, you wait for all your extension icons to disappear, one-by-one, s-l-o-w-l-y, your tabs are closed behind the scenes, and the tab you are focused on disappears for a while, then reappears, and it doesn't even get refreshed—you have to manually refresh it! Then you have to restore all your lost tabs manually IF you are lucky to have a session manager that saved them for you. Then you have to drag the right end of the omnibox to restore your extension icons. What I expected was a simple toggling of extensions with one click. What I got was shocking and unsettling. Fortunately for me, I was able to recover from this desecration of my browser. There isn't a single good feature about this extension's interface.
(4/25/2025 update) It was great. It's nonfunctional now and has been for weeks. Looking for an alternative.
i have a Theme installed on Chrome. Everytime i use this extension it removed my Theme and i keep having to reinstall it
I lost both my theme and a bunch of open tabs. It did however allow me to download something that seemed to have an extension interfering with it. I DROPPED THIS TO ONE STAR. I came home and found all of my tabs lost there even though I didn't run the extension there. Yes, I know it installed and uninstalled itself when I did it at work, but it shouldn't have messed with my open tabs at home.
The simple way would be to deactivate plugin just in browser stripe/bar (right click?) thay would than change colour to gray...
how to use it
Used to work sometimes but now every time it just permanently kills all of my extensions and I have to manually turn them all back on and re-position them into my quick access bar, completely defeating the point and wasting loads of time.
Broke several sites including breaking the menu for my online banking. Not ideal!
Used to work well but about a month or so ago it stopped reenabling the extensions. By design this was a lovely tool for when a website did not work and it was not an ad blocker causing the issue I could just disable extensions to fix the problem and not worry about which one broke whatever site it was. Now it needs an update
Really not usable as is. Will disable but not re-enable. I'll look for other.
Same issue as others. Since I updated the extension, it disables, but does not reenable them. Hoping this will get resolved quickly.
great, thank you for disabling all my extensions without turning them back on. Worked for all these years, sad to have to uninstall.
Used to work like a charm - but lately it seems to have trouble turning extensions back on; I need to do that manually every time.
If you disable your extensions with this tool and you reenable them the orderof the icons are random. Not funny.....
Apparently, it doesn't work anymore :/
Yes, it disables extensions temporarily. But it also deleted my theme, and removed the extensions displayed in toolbar when I re-enabled them.
