Appreciate the effort, but coming up with new and worse ways to do something, which has already been done properly is pretty stupid - what's wrong with double left click on tab? I've been using it for 15 years on Maxthon and absolutely love it. Unfortunately no developer cares to do it for Chrome. It is available as only 1 of many functions of a very heavy extension, which i don't care for either. Shame, that after years such simple function is still unavailable for Chrome.

Doesn't work on my installation of Chrome. When I double-right-click, the context menu just flickers.

works well most of the time, with only a few times i had to manually close a tab because of a higher cpu usage (and when i pressed right click, it didn't give the option to close either) updated review: while mostly working, it also lagged my chrome a lot. given i don't use it that often, decided to uninstall instead for performance

Works fine, but what's up with the suspicious permissions? Are you logging browser traffic?

When I right click to copy text, one click closes the tab.

It worked in BRAVE BROWSER...but mysteriously it does not work on Web Store Pages...hahahaha...i guess they didn't want their SHOP to CLOSE so quickly. KUDOS.
