Description

Alternative to Arc's Sidebar, Dia's Sidebar, Edge's Vertical Tabs, Brave's vertical tabs panel, Vivaldi Windows Pane, Zen browser sidebar. The missing Vertical tabs manager for Chrome. It allows you to have more control over your web browsing experience by effectively managing multiple tabs at once. πŸ€– Your AI Agent for Smart Browsing Research, summarize, and organize, less talk, more action . Side Space’s contextual AI works inside your side panel to automate your workflow. πŸš€ Vertical tabs manager lives in your browser Enabling the vertical tabs setting moves your open tabs from the top of your browser window (above the address bar) to the left side of the window. Additionally, they enhance tab visibility for easier identification. PS: Side Space is a futuristic vertical tab manager that can only be used with Chrome version 114 or above.

Failed in everything I asked it to do. No matter how I tried to emphasize my wishes. By the end, instead of sorting my tabs into existing groups - like I asked - it created new groups, and when I deleted those I lost all my tabs... I should've chosen to "ungroup" but I wish the extension would give me a warning before deleting all my tabs.

The Agent feature silently deletes tabs, which is really bad.

It's getting there, but still misses some crucial features: - Renaming tabs - Creating folders manually (just AI grouping is far from enough, and mostly useless, it should be first manual grouping then eventually AI grouping, but I don't think the latter is that useful, more a marketing thing) I've stopped using it once I learned above is not supported. Also it's not clear to me how it works across multiple Chrome windows. Ideally if each window is treated distinctly with capability of having individual setup. Additionally having the configurations stored should be there so we can either duplicate it in other windows, or easily restore in case of restart or browser crash. Author should setup some patronite I'd love to contribute financially to this project

you need to sign in to create spaces, that's a big no for me and what's with this stupid dark theme, it doesn't match the chrome default dark theme

I really like the app, but am sticking with my non-AI "Vertical Sidebar Tab Group Manager" for a minute... please read on... While exploring the app, there is no User mandated GROUP organization, and whatever I clicked on destroyed ALL of my active GROUPS and jumbled up the TAB order (probably due to AI mandated organization priorities). I had to reinvent the GROUPs and re-organize the TABs. Also, it does not list Inactive GROUPS from Chrome "Tab Groups" list... ...but then again, not a single "Tab Group" organizer does (and I've tried about 20). This would be an important feature... solving the Tab-Group-sub-Groups problem... by listing ALL Groups in ACTIVE and INACTIVE Categories in the side bar, with the ability to toggle the Tabs ON or OFF. Uninstalled for now until these two features are added... 1) User mandated Group Ordering option. 2) Toggled Active and Inactive Group Categories. Also, I like the color scheme and graphic layout of "Vertical Sidebar Tab Group Manager" a little better... I have cataracts and it is MUCH easier for me to read., you might check it out for ideas. Note to Chrome Developers if they are reading this... With a side bar Tab Group extension like this, it would be a nice feature to be able to toggle OFF the Tabs Bar the same way you can toggle OFF the Bookmarks Bar. Note to Side Space Developers if they are reading this... Maybe it is possible to add a Tab Bar On/Off toggle feature under Settings in the app? Just thinkin'....

Just got it. Don't have time to experiment a lot - where can I find a tutorial or documentation so I can get started fast? Didn't see anything like this on the website. For example, if I create a new space, how do I move to it? Can't evaluate it correctly as I can't use it yet Thanks - CC

I like it. Seems to do what it's supposed to, why I installed it for the most part. But then it says create and account, which I did, well thought I did, then thought I didn't and then realized I did - The Sign up page needs better messaging. Anyway signed up and verified via email (I think) but I cannot login at all. go to login put in my email and password and click sign-in button and nothing. Is something supposed to happen, b/c nothing. I realize beta, and that's why it's a 3 star for now. would like to get this working across devices. I DO NOT login to google unless checking email or like now, leaving a review, and I definitely NEVER login to Chrome, so this would be great to use, since Workona sucks now.
