Responsive Viewer

I gave one star because pressing the button does nothing. That is not acceptable. Here is what I think is happening: my website is a local html file, and uses the 'file:' protocol. Chrome is paranoid about this protocol, so I had to give Responsive Viewer specific access to use it. But even after doing this, the button does nothing. Yes, I can move the file so that I can use 'localhost' access with my local webserver. Responsive Viewer might work then. But Responsive Viewer has no instructions or error message at all. Not acceptable.

Supports a terrorist group. After you add this extension you will have "All Eyes on Rafah" image as an ad. Also no support for lower resolutions. The UI is not interactive and overall a cash grab. Would not recommend to anyone.

Garbage money grab now! You can't even add more than 1 custom screen without paying these guys. Lol.

I so hate the new UI, the UX is so hard to use unlike before, now imagine telling me to pay for this damn i always recommended this extension to all my colleagues and friends but now 💔💔💔💔

Big request please fix the issue its not stimulating to any smartphone

It worked fine when it did. Wasn't genuine smartphone experience though. Now it doesn't even launch - Chrome updated something that fatally broke it.

The new update makes usability extremly worse.

Oh. You broke it. RV was my go-to for testing and development and while I like the idea of being able to add newer hardware devices to the list, when NOTHING is displayed after a long time, I wonder if its time to uninstall and add something else.... Hmmm (Sadface).

The biggest problem of the new version for me is it's not possible to move horizontally anymore. I use laptop and want to see how the website looks on the actual size of 1920 desktop, but if I adjust the size to the actual size of 1920 desktop by my smaller monitor, there's no way to see entire of the website. Pls bring back to the old version, otherwise people like me can't go on remote work with laptop...

AVOID!!! This USED the be the BEST responsive viewer available, but the new version is a TOTAL DISASTER. It is SUPER BUGGY, constantly breaks, launching it works less than half the time, the phone chromes work 10% of the time, form syncing no longer works, half the settings don't work, and it no longer saves your screens. Basically NOTHING works any more. Not to mention the close button is gone, F5 no longer works, and it INTENTIONALLY CRIPPLES ITSELF an ad blocker is detected! NEWS FLASH buddy - 100% of web developers USE AD BLOCKERS. 😑 The dev clearly got too big for his own shoes, and the rating is about to go from 4.8☆ to 1.8☆ overnight. What a shame. Looking for a replacement NOW...

I don’t understand why they ruined such a product, there was a good menu with tools, now there’s some kind of narrow stripe on the side and terrible brakes when working

This review is solely for the new UI design. The old design was much better than the new one. The previous UI was more interactive, easier to use, and easier to understand, and most importantly, it provided a complete flow. However, I am unsure what to do with the new design.

Every single screenshot i've built with temporary data for the past 2 hours has been choppy and unusable. Complete design failure.

Broken mess. This should have made site go into different view modes like mobile, tablet but instead it showed zoomed in version of desktop version of website in a new tab. Plus why do you need to read my browsing history?

The app promotes Palestine but doesn't acknowledge the fact that Palestine attacked Israel and wants to commit genocide against all Jews. Unacceptable and disgusting!

Great Extension. I've compared several responsive viewer and this one is by far the best. Great usability and tons of useful features. For me as an UX Designer it makes frontend testing much easier. It would be 5 stars if the screenshot feature would work. It only delivers blue screens :-( UPDATE: The newest Update is terrible. The usability is worse, all my settings are gone and also the banner with political statements is not appropriate for use in work context.

Doesn't work for every website. Depends on what is aalowed or not by the owner.

Sync Clicks does not work properly and I cannot use it effectively. I need to click all screens again and again

Great Idea and could be excellent! but a few things make this unusable for development. First off, can you please clean the console? Debugging my code when you have a load of information from the extension is not viable. Also adding screen sizes is not saved when I reopen the extension.

Stopped working for me on Chrome? Was there a recent update?

thanks for the plugin. how to reset a «distorded» device? there are handles a the rightside and on the bottom of the screens. but i could’t find a reset button.

It's more expensive than I'm willing to pay, even if it's a monthly fee. Plus, the new UI sucks...

This extension is very helpful to me. But I have a problem that loading a page in my project with desktop and tablet is fully visible but on mobile it seems to not show the content and just blank. I really hope it will be fixed in the next release. Thank you.

Responsive Viewer seemed very useful at first... but I quickly discovered a problem that made it almost useless to me: If I load my Sanstudio.com website into Responsive Viewer, it works fine with the home page or some of the main section front pages (such as clicking on the "Graphic Stories" image). However, _within_ my main sections (Graphic Stories, Illustration, and Sketchbook), none of the actual main images display: all I see is the logo and maybe navigation chrome, but the actual story pages, sketches, etc aren't there -- it's just blank. When I load these pages normally (not using Responsive Viewer) they all display properly. I'm guessing that the problem is that the internals rely on a combination of PHP and JavaScript. The navigation is PHP-based. Does Responsive Viewer not support PHP? Or is there something I'm missing here? Thanks, Lawrence San (sanstudio.com)

Just started looking into it. The extension itself is pretty handy though my current experience with it is surface. However, I noticed that when I have the extension enabled and I load the chrome webstore, this extension prevents js there. I turned off the extension and the store loads fine. May still use it but will have to leave it in a disabled state if it's causing issues on pages I am not even using the extension on.

It really solves a big problem in UI design, however, it would be AWESOME if it could preview pages stored locally. Can you advise how can I achieve that and if it is even possible to test a page without having to send it to the www. Thanks in advance :)
