It requires a 2gb background process for work
It will run in Brave, but only if you lower Brave's "Shields", opening you up to everything. Because it's a two-part app (browser plugin that talks to a separate server app), it's communicating with the server/datastore via http (no "s") channel to "localhost", which falls into the "unsafe access" world, hence Brave's default block. Haven't quite figured out the Brave tweak to fix this ... yet.
The code viewer in GitLab unusable if this plugin is active, it falls into pieces and the beginning of the lines is not visible.
Unfortunately it kills standard functionality in Oracle Netsuite , can no longer edit fields which are perfectly editable when this extension is not installed (or disabled). Shame , but as a Netsuite developer the Pieces extension cannot be used.
Used to be great, stopped working on Arc browser.
The toolchain was immediately helpful and integrated with my macbook but I am finding the memories feature and the chrome copilot does not work consistently, often just spinning and waiting for results indefinitely.
Absolutely destroys the performance of my laptop. Immediately after installing this extension my computer started acting sluggish. This got worse and worse. I looked into what could be causing it and found the extension to be eating tons of RAM (over 600MB) and performing read / write ops of 2-6MB/s.
Not able to connect the extension with the pieces OS, it says you dont have OS in your system. says to download it. But i already have it
