its NOT a saver, lol )))) to SAVE functionality

800 saved tabs disappeared after force closing Chrome.

Lost my tab groups ;o;

I really want to give this extension 5 stars ( because there is a huge need for a "tabs profile" function ), but I can only give 1. Echoing what John Sepassi says below ...."When I clicked into it all I could see was every window that was open and the names of the tabs but there was no way for me to save them, name the group of tabs, or do anything besides just see which windows were open. absolutely pointless chrome extension.". I wouldn't go as far as saying that this is a useless extension but it's close. If I could click in to it, save a group of tabs as a profile and then go and reload that profile later, I'd happily give this 5 stars. If this is somehow possible, the developer needs to say how it's done.

suddenly lost all my tabs.

No any buttons to operate tabs.

Does not work. No instructions. I open Tab Group Saver and see all the open tabs. Cant do anything with them, tho. Like save them into a group? Useless.

This TRASH app destroyed my groups. It automatically removed all the tab groups as I saved them, I assumed that was normal behavior; but when clicking the button to restore tab groups, they disappear from the list of saved groups, and don't get restored. I lost all my tab groups. Thanks a lot.

Doesn't work reliably as of October 11, 2022. to be fair I only used it for a little bit today but I had saved 4 different groups of tabs and when I tried to restore them only one of the groups actually restored. the others just vanished loosing the tabs into the sea of closed tabs in my history. it had potential but I don't want to risk loosing a group that I need for a project because the extension bugged out.

Deleted my saved groups

after saving the data on device and then opened to import the saved data nothing happed and lost all the work

Simply waste. When we using saved groups, it deletes that group permanently from Tab Group Saver. If we closed the chrome the group tabs are lost. We need to store again and again. This extension not useful at all. Installed and deleted within an 1 hour.

This doesn't save my tabs. Maybe it's because I cleared my history/ cache. Also if you close your chrome it won't save them again when they pop up. Kinda pointless

There's no control whatsoever on the feature provided. Making this basically useless junk.

It does not work for me. Of 3 groups I saved on a Mac, two disappeared immediately. The groups I saved on a PC disappeared after a restart. No sync in Chrome between devices.

Useless. Closes tabs when saving so they're no longer accessible. The whole point of wanting to save tabs is so they are not lost when the browser is closed. I dont want to use the chrome option Continue where I left off, because I want to open a specific set of tabs, and restore those I may have closed without restoring every single tab I previously had open.

Doesn't do what it claims to do Groups are not saved permanently, as soon as we restore them, they are moved out from the saved list and if we don't remember to save them again and then close the browser, they are permanently gone. What's the point? Saved groups should ALWAYS stay saved unless I manually delete them and they should update themselves with new tabs or closed tabs, so they are kept up to date, but they should never ever be deleted entirely.

Doesn´t do what it says, no way to know what you are actually doing or what it is doing or not... What is the point of having an extension like this if after closing Chrome , all is gone I can see that you can pin a tab, maybe would be best to work around pinning a group that WILL STAY SAVED after closing the browser? Sorry but no use of it that way...

Do not work since Chrome 100 upgrade. I used it before, and was a simple but still quite practical extension to save, close and reopen later Group tabs.

Bad User Interface and no instructions.

frustration...do not call this a Tab Group saver UNTIL it does save groups when closing down chrome for now call it "a nice Tab Group organizer as long as you do not shut down or close chrome" Losing Tab Groups when chrome shuts down is a HUGE time sink and productivity I had such high hopes for this product until my mac shut down closes Chrome To my suprise... when I opened up Chrome... NO Tab Groups Very disappointing... put a priority on the auto save and restore ie Groups show up on opening chrome

I am giving a 2 star because once the Tabs are restored then they are not saved anymore ... what is the logic behind that ? all the hard work will be gone even if you accidently close the browser. Please get this one feature, saved tabs are saved permanently, then I will rate again.

WARNING! This extension will mess up your Tab Groups and you'll most likely LOSE your configuration as I've lost (the irony is that I've installed it to prevent such loss in the future). The list of current Tab Groups shows them all, nice - although it should show the list full width of the browser / panel not in a very narrow sub-panel that requires a lot of scrolling (I have lots of groups/tabs) Then you hit Save tab group and it's move to the left side ... and also, REMOVED from the Chrome, which I didn't notice (Save to me doesn't imply Removing it from Chrome, just saving for the future - Archive would be a better name in such case) ... So, when I attempted to Restore all groups ... only 5 of them got restored, the rest resulted in a total mess of over hundred tabs with all Tab Group info lost :( I hate you (the developer of this plugin) for that ! Now I'll have to spend another hour or more to rebuild my tabs.

Could gain full stars if not for its login function to not work till this day

cons: - cannot search tab groups. no search funtionality. - cannot colapse windows, to simpler ez UI pros: - can move tab groups (but if you have many windows open, not very easily

Great start. It would be very useful to move tabs from one group to another. It would be even better if multiple tabs can be selected and moved at once.

Stopped working after recent updates to Chrome (as of July 2022). Was very useful. Chrome should adopt functionality like this to save tabs - otherwise what are the for?? Also, it never worked on Mac Chrome, which should be made clearer.

this extension is what i am looking for but there is still a drawback is i have to redo my gurb one by one hopefully in the future it can save permanently or without the need to switch between save and open or there is grub that remains saved without the need to save and open every time using a tab it is very consuming time

keyboard shortcuts to enable / disable certain tab groups would make this extension more useful

good apps but needs improvement. I cannot read the saved tab they are pale without contrast! The close and download icons are so small and close to each other that I clicked on close instead of download the tab group. Also the tabs are pale and hard to read

I have been using this extension for a few months at this point and it has been great except for a few critical bugs that have made using the extension much more difficult. Specifically, I have found that when restoring some tab groups, not all tabs will actually be restored and on very rare occasions, the tab group isn't restored at all and is lost since it isn't saved any more. Would love if these bugs could be fixed.

I can not for the life of me understand why the tab group is closed when you save it. What is the purpose of that? And then if you restore the group, it's removes the group from 'saved' ... ? So if you forget that your group isn't saved, it's lost when you close your browser?

Please provide option to save tab groups without closing them, a critical enhancement for quick tab group backup and restoration.
