RatePunk Hotel Booking Deals

Waste of my time and money, all searches came in way more expensive vs expedia and others, and ZERO notifications i have to keep checking manually, i want my money back

Ratepunk scammed us when we paid extra and booked a room with Ocean View and eventually received a room with no View. It was Ratepunk's fault advertising the room as Ocean View but in reality it was a room with no view. I tried solving this with them but they keep giving me a compensation that is not available. Stay away from them as they provide wrong promises, and you can not trust them.

Just paid want my money back, cannot book horrible

Garbage, I was taken to a 404 page when I selected my region. I couldn't do anything.

I re-downloaded this long enough to write this review to warn everyone - now I am going to remove this as soon as I post this review. I did not like when I went to add the extention on to my Chrome browser and it said it was going to grant very broad permissions to access data on my computer. I looked it up on Google, and here is what they say about what Ratepunk is requesting: "High alert High alert When the permission requires access to all data on your computer and the websites you visit, it means that the app or extension can access almost anything. This could be your webcam or personal files, inside or outside of your browser." Nope, nope, and nope. Not today, ISIS. I don't need hotel price alerts THAT badly.

Won't allow me to track prices or look at hotels. Says I must change currency but shows no where and can't find anywhere to do that. Useless.

No help at all. Got almost exactly the same prices with and without RatePunk on both Hotels.com and Booking.com, and it kept changing the dates I entered. Also, with RatePunk I don't collect rewards like I do on hotels.com.

No answer in support after hotel messaged they can't host us, but also they couldn't cancel the reservation from their end.

Blocks other hotel sites from opening which is a time wasting annoyance. Found Ratepunk the culprit and deleted it

No support. Shows prices in Euros instead of dollars even though I am in US with US IP.

Serious BS, I get cheaper result on the same place, same date by using a browser without Ratepunk. Search done within second apart.

The reviews seem fake compared to the feedback they get on their Facebook page. Anybody without booking or having ever used RatePunk can write a review on here. The Reviews here have been put through Chatgpt and rewritten in 500 different ways... sad but it's their way of sucking people in. Just check out the reviews for yourself.

While it does what promises, I discovered that the site hijacks URLs to inject their own affiliate codes, apparently, without telling the users. I don't want to know how much money they make from unsuspecting users. Chrome Web Store should enforce full transparency on such behavior, who knows what are urls they redirect secretly?

that one time of 20+ when it found the cheaper option - it wasn't the same room. So kinda useless

Compares just 4 sites: any site comparison site compares far more sites and so finds better prices...uninstalled immediately

I checked 6 hotels, cheaper price wasn't find for any :(

Doesn't work. Every time I see the same content: "Cheaper price found! $99 potential savings" and a "Where to book?" button which does not respond on clicks.

It s an okay extension, please consider adding RON currency. thank you
