Description
The Tatev Monastery is one of the most beautiful monuments in the region. The “Wings of Tatev” is the world’s longest reversible cable car that takes you from Halidzor to the village of Tatev, where the magnificent monastery is located. Built between the 10th and 13th centuries, the Tatev Monastery was an important religious and educational center with around 1,000 monks.
