Enhancer for Netflix, Crunchyroll, etc

If I could do negative stars, I would. I actually reinstalled this extension to write this review. USER BEWARE: IMDB star ratings are inflated. I did not check the other rating source(s) but I would suspect they are too.

Imagine charging money to use all the features of a Chrome extension

does not work on ARC. when i click the extension it opens a new window and nothing ever happens. Opening a new window in general instead of a tab is infuriating in itself

Worked for a little while, now it does nothing. I haven't tested it for crunchyroll but for Netflix neither the import nor the IMDB ratings on Netflix titles work. (Will edit review if fixed)

This is trash, like the truthful reviews say, It has more akin to malware then an actual extension.

Ridiculous add-on. Doesn't show anything actually different. Wants you to pay to see more categories. I didn't see it add anything to Netflix that wasn't already right there. No thanks

I noticed this extension on one of my laptops a couple weeks ago. Mind you, I did not install it. So I uninstalled it and, low and behold, it came back... like a bad case of crabs! I don't like clandestine programs that sneak onto your computer. I'm going to uninstall one more time and hopefully it will not flare up again. BTW, I'm not interested in keeping track of the movies I watch. I forget what they were about 5 mins after it's done. Then when I watch it again, it's like a brand new movie. I guess being senile has its perks.

it puts a wall and blocks your access to Netflix website unless you sync your account I never saw this s.. in y life.

Doesn't support Hulu

no easy way to bypass the nag screen makes this a no go as the rest of the users won't put up with that kind of inconvenience, features added also aren't worth the headache for myself.

Loved it until it started badgering and forcing me to sign up for simkl so now removing it.

It was great until IMDB ratings went away except via a login account (imdb.com doesn't require a login to view its ratings), and listing all categories became a pay model. EDIT: Now it has a full screen blocking AD for simkl. This whole thing is just a ploy to get people paying for yet another service, rather than something nice and free like it used to be. Not cool. One star.

It doesn't work unless you're willing to create an account and share all your watching history with simkl.com.

Does not work. I created free Simkl account but dont know where to link it with extension.

I haven't been able to get the SIMKL browse function to work. When I click on it, the menu pops up and once I hover over it, the menu disappears. If I click fast enough, the menu will stay, however the menu doesn't work. I cannot search anything as even after I search something, it refers me back to the main Netflix home page, despite the URL now including what my search terms were.

Andrew, you said below: "You need a Simkl account to be able to grey out watched movies on Netflix". Yeah... well I don't WANT to grey out stuff. Unless you add an options page like Flix Plus, this extension will remain less an "enhancer" & more a ploy to get Simkl signups.

A red warning triangle appears when checking the panels, but it still seems to be syncing.

It's good, and I love that it also shows MyAnimeList scores for anime, but I wish it would add RottenTomatoes scores (the Tomatometer and Audience score) - which is usually the best and most accurate scoring system - and that it would let us choose which scoring services to use (by enabling/disabling the others). If those features were implemented, it would be a 5 stars extension.

Has a good concept, but it doesnt work at all without signing up for an account. I dont want to sign up for an account i just want it to be simple pimple enable and work.

I has been working very well for a couple years now. but now that netflix has updated their UI when you hover over things, it no longer shows imdb scores and other ratings.

Good set of features for Netflix, but the title of the extension is a bit misleading. It doesn't do any enhancing for Hulu beyond allowing you to import your Hulu watch history to Simkl. It'd be great if the IMDB and RT scores showed on Hulu as well.

The random function does not work at all. I would also really like it, if the website could recommend based on my previously viewed.

Hey simkl team can you please add an feature to grey out already rated series? I really like the feature that grey out series if we watched the last episode, but often enough netflix does not have the latest season and this specific series will never grayed out. thanks for reading :P
