Vertical Twitch

Doesn't work for me and hasn't worked for me ever. The chat is anchored from the top, meaning it completely covers the video and makes the stream impossible to watch. Developer email also does not work, so I leave this review instead of just contacting him to figure out what's going wrong.

It sometimes works, but it's broken right now.

It was the best Vertical extension while it lasted....not sure what happened but recently twitch just resizes the vertical mode on it's own whenever I apply it on a stream, bugs out to the point I have to refresh the page each time, icons disappear. Please fix! Web browser (Brave)

Currently broken. Even when it wasn't totally broken it was still very janky and easy to break.

As of April 2024, the plugin no longer works. I assume it needs an update.

Great extension, but looks like the latest twitch update has kind of broken things, icons disappear when going into vertical mode

To go around the recent problem, try to click on "Theatre Mode" instead of the vertical twitch icon, with Vertical Twitch still installed. For me it mostly looks like the previous experience (but for some reason it doesn't work without the extension).

I'd rate it higher, but there's a fairly annoying and odd quirk where it reverts back to normal right side chat whenever another chatter mentions you in their comments, as someone who's very active in twitch chat it causes me to have to reset the vertical player quite often. Other than that the app is pretty easy to use and I hope this major bug gets fixed soon.
